Author has written 18 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist.

Announcement: I swear I haven't died! Life has been really busy for me now that summer is coming to a close, and since school is starting so early this year in the place where I live, I doubt it's going to be any easier once school gets going. You'll probably be seeing me little more than sporadically for the next month or two, but then I'll come back full force around late October/early November, because by that time I'll be sick and tired of school and I'll need my fanfiction to keep me from going insane. (It's a bit sad how well I know myself and am able to predict my own laziness habits, isn't it? I should be less predictable.) See you later!

Name: Tabitha. You can call me almost anything you want, except please don't refer to me as "that little whore" because it makes me die on the inside -.- Yeah, but seriously. Tabitha, Tabby, Kitty, Alias, Aurora, Yani--whatever. But I refer to myself as Kitty or Alias, usually. But if (when!) I get an original fiction book published, it'll be under the name A. P. Patterson. (If I get anything published, you'll know! I'll never shut up about it!)

Age: I'm a minor, so no funny business. Sixteen. n.n

Gender: Female. Too much of a bitch to be otherwise. Don't be fooled by my tendency to not stick to a particular gender when writing first-person fics. It's a talent, not a sign of androgyny or lesbianism. n.n'

Appearance: Glasses, and not even sexy ones, drab brown hair, and my clothes all look pretty much the same. Black shirt, hoodie, jeans. I blend in. (I swear I'm straight ninja, srsly.)

T.C. Meade is now AliasAurora! This change has been planned by me for awhile and I just got around to doing it. The upside of the username change is the fact that AliasAurora is my username on pretty much every website I'm on: Gaia Online (even though that account's banned until 2010 and I currently use a different account), Project Playlist, Deviantart, Quizilla, et cetera. Lol, so now you know how to find me on other sites!

I'm pretty much majorly obsessed with FMA. I've read the manga and seen the anime and I watch Brotherhood religiously. I did not write the following, but it sums up my opinion on the anime perfectly:

If you haven't seen the anime, don't. It's not as good as the manga, and doesn't follow it at all. the anime runs 51 episodes, and has only minor relations to the manga, being characters and minor plot points.

The characters are the same, the beginning is the same, however, the main antagonist is an anime-only character, Hoho is not the philosopher's stone, someone else killed Winry's parents, Scar dies, the homunculi want to be human, the energy used in alchemy comes from a completely different source, there's no such country as Xing, the homunculi are made by human transmutation, Snape didn't kill Dumbledore, Father is nonexistent, Havoc isn't handicapped, Ed and Al burnt their house a year before Ed got his State Alchemist License, Al took the State Alchemy Exam, King Bradley is actually Pride, Wrath is the product of Izumi Curtis' failed transmutation, Marcoh makes a very brief appearance then disappears until the second to last episode when it is known that Gluttony ate him, Al became the philosopher's stone for the last season, Envy is actually Hoho's and the main antagonist's son, Sloth is the thing that Ed and Al brought to life when they attempted human transmutation, Rose from Lior is raped and has a kid, there's no country-wide transmutation circle, Sonic isn't in Brawl, Lior was turned into a philosopher's stone, Kimblee dies, Dobby doesn't die, there's practically no romance between Winry and Ed, the iron-blood alchemist Basque Gran dies in front of Ed, Greed doesn't make an appearance until late in the series, Envy's real form is some sort of long dragon thing, Shou Tucker is turned into a chimera himself, Mustang gets shot in the eye, and our world lies on the other side of the Portal.

I have a fairly debilitating EdWin obsession. I can't even look at or think about other pairings, so no matter how good a fic is, if it's Edvy, EdRoy, EdxOC, WinryxOC, EnvyxWin, SheskaxWinry... basically every pairing that's not EdWin, I can't stand it. Their relationship is is incredibly beautiful to me, I can't imagine Ed or Winry with anyone else--they're just SO compatible! Other characters, I can stand a little playing with pairings, barring yaoi and yuri, which I think is pretty not consistent with the manga (I consider manga to be canon, not the anime, which sucked). There are a LOT of heterosexual canon pairings in FMA: RoyxRiza, AlxMei (arguable because Mei is so young), and very likely Maria Ross x Denny Brosh--there's totally something there. I'm holding out for RebeccaxHavoc, too! Havoc has always had girl problems, and Rebecca--I just think she's a good match for him. Anytime I see yaoi for FMA, a part of me dies inside, so please don't do it! You'll kill me!

Look, I don't have a problem with yaoi in general. In fact, without yaoi I don't think I would be as good of an author as I am today, and with yaoi I hope to become better--reading yaoi AND het fics as well helped me learn how to write romance. Practice makes perfect, too. My first ever FMA fic, Every Now and Then, is RIDDLED with errors. First tries of everything: romance, writing long chapters, writing short chapters, writing to deadlines, finishing long projects, plot advancement, characterization, character creation, character development… If you read ENAT and ENATAgain straight through, you can visibly see my writing style improving, or so I'm told by people who've done it. That's the main reason why I decided never to rewrite or edit ENAT--it's important for people who think I'm really amazing (there are many) to realize that I'm not perfect and never was. It's been just seven months since I entered this fandom and I know I'm a thousand times better a writer than I was.

Also, I'd like to mention something that has helped me a lot as a writer: TVTropes.org. As TV Tropes will proudly tell you, "TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life" and "TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Vocabulary." But once you've spent a few hours bouncing around in TVTropes' immense network of internal links, you'll never look at fiction in quite the same way. Trust me.

People who butcher the English language drive me crazy. Or French, while I'm thinking about it. I dream to one day live in a world without "Wahlah"s, "Oh contraire"s, "Say manuficke"s, or blond women and blonde men. (Explanation: "Blond" and "Blonde" may seem to be the same, but the "e" indicates that the adjective refers to a female. Call a man a blonde and you're questioning whether he's got in his pants what he says she's got! There's no way to really represent that in English, because we don't distinguish between masculine and feminine as much, which is why, "Une bonne voiture" and "Un bon vélo", which means "A good car" and "A good bicycle" respectively, doesn't have any difference in meaning in English except for the number of wheels. You can tell in the French, though, that there's a difference between "un" and "une," and a difference between "bon" and "bonne." The difference is obvious, and reflects the gender of the two nouns. Since in English we don't make that distinction, people often make stupid mistakes with borrowed words such as "blond.") Also, Japanese. I don't know a lot of Japanese, guys; I know about six words, maybe, and one of them is "sayonara." So if a total inept like me knows You're Doing It Wrong, You're Doing It Wrong. For example, "Mr. Breda-san." Or a ten-year-old GIRL referring to herself as "watashi." (FYI: "Atashi" is a feminine pronoun. Some more mature women might use "watashi," but probably not little girls.) Also, the same little girl ending her sentences with "desu" instead of the informal contraction "da." No. Don't do it. Just don't.

The ring the shopkeeper showed Ed and Al in chapter 16 of Every Now and Then is located here: http://www.whitefirejewelry.com/p/WF00818_medium.jpg This is the ring that Ed bought, in case that wasn't clear.
