Royai: Second place. I'm not a fan of RoyEd or RoyHughes when it comes to romance. Roy and Ed I think have a more father/son relationship, and Roy and Hughes are just great friends.

Note about pairings: Any romance that I might write will be the subtle kind. There will not be anything in my stories ever that involves people removing their clothes, if you get what I mean. I don't do yaoi or fem slash (I don't have anything against it, but I just don't want to write it.) Most of my stories won't have romance at all--I prefer friendship stories much more.

Regrets: Okay, so this was just a one-shot, so maybe it doesn't count for much in the way of being completed, but I worked on it for five days, and I'm really happy with the way it came out. It's so fun to get inside Roy's head. Especially when he's angsting. xP This was actually my first experiment with first person and present tense, so I hope you enjoy reading it. I'm actually rather fond of the plot, so I'm planning to actually write a story based on it that picks up at the end of the one-shot, but it'll be in the normal third-person, past tense style. But I do have these other stories to update... -pokes below- ...and homework and college applications (-drones on and on and on-) so I don't know when I'll get around to it.

As of Thursday, 6/25: Green Eyed Monster, Live to Fight Again, Promotion, The Best Medicine, Insubordination, My Sister's Keeper, and Worth Protecting (all one-shots, though. xD)

Stories In-Progress:

The Bonds Between Them: This is going to be my main story and my favorite one so far. I already have pretty much the whole plot planned out, but school life is busy, so...yeah. I'll try to update as much as I can, but I might not be always as fast as I've been so far. Plot sketch: Alphonse is kidnapped one day, and the note left behind by the kidnappers says that Ed is not to have anyone military with him when he arrives at the appointed meeting place. So Ed turns to the only non-military person who can help him: Scar. Now if they can only help Al without killing each other first... (Ed/Scar friendship fic, Roy becomes a main character 2nd half) Time Frame: approx. Ep. 24 Bonding Memories

Nervous Wreck: (On permanent hiatus until further notice.) This was originally a roleplay with my friend Flags, but I thought it'd make a cute story. Retitled from "Royice". Plot sketch: My OC, Private Jerry Anderson, is known in the military for being somewhat of a loser. He's clumsy, he stutters, and he gets reaally nervous around his superiors. So when he's assigned by the Fuhrer himself to a mission in Rush Valley with Roy, needless to say people were surprised. Half the plot belongs to Flags. Takes place right before Fullmetal v. Flame.

Ed-igami?!: Yeah, the formatting got messed up when I posted the title. That's what it's really supposed to look like. I really have no idea where I will go with this one, and it'll probably have the most sporadic updates. Plot sketch: An alchemic experiment goes awry and sends the FMA cast through the Gate to Karakura Town of Bleach. At the same time, the Soul Society's experiments on Hollows has caused a rift to form between the human and spirit worlds which threatens to destroy both worlds.

-In Sickness and In Health: Royai. When Roy becomes ill, it falls to Riza to take care of him. (Some Maes/Roy friendship will be included as well). Not quite sure where I'll go with this, but at least the first chapter is now posted. (Not dead, but a lower priority for updating)

The Lost Kido: I had put this is the "may or may not be updated" heading, but seeing how popular it's been (I'm going on hits, not reviews here -coughcoughhackhack-), I will work on this when I have some more inspiration for it. xP But in the meantime... -guides your mouse to the review button- (Same note as the above fic)

-Hate: A spinoff of the events on Lab 5, which involves Scar and Kimbley working together (more of an 'unspoken truce' plot than a friendship fic. I'm not completely insane. Yet. XD) This'll be dedicated to my friend Foxx when it is written. (The Original Foxx, if you want to read her stories. =P)

-In Sickness and In Health: (First chapter now posted, 10/3/08)

-Let Me Say I'm Sorry: Royai. Roy takes Riza granted one too many times, and she decides she's had enough. Now they both have to adjust to life without each other.

-Ghosts of the Past: Scar gets a visit from a man he thought he'd never see again: his brother.

-Childcare: (title still under revision) I wondered what'd happen if I reversed the plot situation of the first few chapters of "The Bonds Between Them", and that got the gears turning. Essentially, Ed falls ill, and Scar is the one to find him. :3

-Drinking Contest and Understanding: A pair of one-shots that are going to go together. Like "Regrets," they'll be in first person, but in the more typical past tense as opposed to present. Roy and Scar are going to recount the same event, but each in their own perspective.

-My Lady: I'll be dedicating this to my friend Lin, who's a big fan of Fire Emblem (and loves to play video games in general) when I eventually write it. And she writes awesome stories, so check her out: Lynnie Kleriker. Anyway, the fic's for the Sacred Stones game, set at the beginning of the first game chapter. Seth/Eirika.

-Backup: This would be a Yu-gi-oh fanfic. Mainly because I love the thought of torturing Kaiba. -evil smirk- Basically, Mokuba offers to test out Kaiba's brand-new virtual reality system, and against his better judgment, Kaiba accedes. But a power surge causes a blackout at KaibaCorp, and Mokuba appears to be 'lost' in cyberspace. However, with some help he comes across an old backup file with a trace of Mokuba's mind...
