I am a small- town girl (living in a lonely word??--I actually hate that whole Journey, REO Speedwagon genre,. so I've no idea why I just said that) and I love it while constantly dreaming, even after I turned 30, of something little, yellow, different. I am kind of new here, so any help with this stuff would be much appreciated. I do love early to mid-90s grunge, Brit-pop, punk, post-punk, garage revival, and am a raging anglophile. Right now my favorite bands are Bob Dylan, The Libertines, Yeti, Dirty Pretty Things, Pearl Jam, The Pogues, Anais Mitchell and The Clash. I know, I am all over the place.

I read constantly. I had a teacher say that if I ran out of books, he thought that I would read the backs of soup cans. I have my J.D., but write laws for a living. I am what ditto-heads would call a "bleeding heart liberal." I live in the most purple state of them all, Pennsyl-tucky. James Carville once described my home state as "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between." I could not agree more. And I have lived in all three of those places.
