Because of my incredibly busy life I have been unable to write as much as I would like to. Because of this I must put certain fics on hiatus to focus on my more important ones. The current in-progress fics and their statuses are listed here:

About the Name: Okay, look, you may want to sit down for this one, it’s a bit of explaining.
First of all, STRiPES was a fan-maren for NiGHTS Into Dreams/Journey of Dreams, a video game I liked. (Fan-maren means a Nightmaren that didn’t appear in the games). She was NiGHTS’ sister that ran away because she was confused about her loyalties because her sister fought for Nighttopia and she was in love with Reala, who fought for Nightmare. Complex family.
After the permanent hiatus of that comic, I discovered “Hey wait, I have highlights! Happy dance!” so now that is my nickname, cause I have STRiPES in my hair
The Lady thing came after when I wanted to change my name on a forum site mostly populated with manfolk and I wanted to make it damn clear that I was in fact womankind.

About the Me: Heyo! I’m 15, and I live in Unseelie lands in Northeast USA. I can relate everything and anything to Labyrinth or The Phantom of the Opera and occasionally NiGHTS. Most of my inspiration strikes…whenever it feels like getting around to it

Aboot The Fandoms Followed: While I’m trying to get into the X-Men fandom, I’m about… oh, yes, 20 years behind. I’m a looser and really got into it because Nicktoons Network released a new series Wolverine and the X-Men which apparently is totally canon to any comics or whatever. But Nightcrawler still kicks ass and Gambit and Storm and Rouge are still around so… yeah, I’m a bad not-fan.
I also stalk Joss Wheedon’s work from the short-lived Firefly to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, and Angel. And Toy Story. He wrote that. Oh, please “Wind the frog!” was SO a Joss line

The major fandom I follow, however is The Phantom of the Opera. I have read the Gaston Leroux book, watch the movie religiously and have seen the musical… once. I have written so much stock phanfictions you wouldn’t believe.
