Author has written 5 stories for Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Hi there. The name's Digidramon. What I'm dedicated to is making a very good fiction on Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. This is why I started writing my fiction there, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits. If I can, I'll make Seven Spirits one of the best fics in the entire section. I'd like to thank Blackwing44, who has been patient and dedicated in reviewing Seven Spirits, so kudos to you, Blackwing. Well, Spirit Legends is now up and ready for you to read and review! My interests are mainly Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon. I am interested in other stuff, like the Persona games, but those three are my main interests. My Info: 5 Favorite Anime/Manga Hero Characters: 1: Yusei Fudo (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Alright, Yusei has to be one of the single most epic Yu-Gi-Oh! characters ever imagined. Sure, he doesn't show a lot of emotion most of the time, but when he shows it, man is he one human guy. I like Yusei because he has this cool attitude, not cold, but just chilled and serious. He takes things a lot more seriously than Jaden and he has (in my opinion) a much better Deck than Yami Yugi (although I'm biased because of Synchro Monsters). 2: Akiza Izinski/Aki Izayoi (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Akiza is also an amazing character (more so in the original. Bella Hudson's voice for Akiza is just... terrible). She has one of the saddest backstories of any Yu-Gi-Oh! character to date, as even her parents let her down, heck, her own father called her a monster! Then all the stuff at Duel Academy and everything just broke her down even more until all she had was hate and pain... but underneath it, you can tell Akiza still has the ability to love and care (I do believe that Akiza loved Sayer to some degree, probably like a father, given that her own father was never really there for her). Plus, Akiza uses Plants, which used to be the biggest joke of a Type since... well, they've always been a joke. But thanks partly to Akiza's cards, Plants are getting much much much better. 3: Crow Hogan (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Another epic character, Crow has to be one of my favorites. His Blackwings absolutely rule the duels, and his character is incredible. He's one of the few characters the 4Kids dub hasn't made utterly ridiculous, and I have to be amazed and pleased at that fact. And, of course, Crow is now the Fifth Signer! 4: Aster Phoenix/Edo Phoenix (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) Aster was a character I found amazing from the second I first saw an episode with him in it. He has one of the single most epic Decks ever imagined with the Destiny Heroes, and the fact he beat Jaden makes him even more incredible in my eyes. Truly, Aster has always been one of my favorite anime characters from the moment I saw him. 5: 5 Favorite Anime/Manga Villains 1: Yubel (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) Yubel's story was amazing, her methods were downright evil and her motives were sad. She has to be one of my favorite villains ever, just because her emotional torment of Jaden was very very cruel and at the same time darkly fascinating to watch. The fact that she 'loves' Jaden just makes her an even more intriguing villain for me. 2: Trueman (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) Trueman was an epic villain. A guy whose Deck evolves with every loss, who can copy himself in a manner almost similar to Agent Smith of the Matrix trilogy, and who summons not one but TWO Five God Dragons in one Duel has to be on this list somewhere, and second place is very well deserved. I loved his Duel against Axel for the emotional torment aspect of making Axel effectively face his own father. 3: Roman Goodwin/Rudger Godwin (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Roman is an amazing villain because his actions before 5D's itself with the Zero Reverse very much shaped the entire series seventeen years later. The effects of the Zero Reverse are clearly shown with the poverty and pollution apparent in the Satellite, as well as with the very clear devastation within the B.A.D. The effects on the series characters such as Yusei and Crow, who both lost their parents to the Zero Reverse (chances are that the same thing happened with Jack and Kalin, but that is unconfirmed as far as I know). As if causing this widespread death and destruction wasn't enough, Roman then ruthlessly forces Yusei to Duel Rally, then he sends Yusei into the Underworld following his own defeat in their second Duel. Certainly, Roman is fearsome and ruthless, and clearly deserves a place on the list. 4: Placido (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Placido isn't a bad villain, in fact, he's one of my absolute favorites. The mystery behind him, Jose and Luciano has kept me guessing since they arrived, and Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity has to be one of the absolute best monsters in 5D's these days. A Synchro Killer Deck is an ingenious idea in 5D's, and although the Accel Synchros look set to take this threat head on, there would have to be some pretty impressive Accel Synchros to overcome Wisel, Skiel and the third Machine Emperor! 5: Rex Goodwin/Rex Godwin (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) Rex is one downright epic villain. He lost to Roman on purpose just to become a Dark Signer, then several episodes later he proceeds to rip off his mechanical arm and stick Roman's arm on its place before taking all five Marks of the Dragon for himself and declaring himself able to destroy the world and rebuild it again. Epic! And as if THAT wasn't villain enough, he then uses one of the single most awesome Decks imagined with his Inca cards (which incidentally are being released in Absolute Powerforce!). His use of a pair of perfectly connected monsters, one Synchro and one Dark Synchro was just ingenious, as was the inspiration for both Sun Dragon Inti and Moonlight Dragon Quilla. However what really took the cake was Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca. That thing in the anime is so incredibly broken it is unbelievable, I mean, it can auto-reduce your opponents Life Points to one, it cannot be attacked, is immune to your opponent's Spells and Traps and can attack directly. Still, Yusei beat Rex in the end with Savior Star Dragon. 5 Favorite Fanfic Characters (mine): 1: Julian Mikuro (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits/Spirit Legends) To those of you who didn't see Julian coming, shame on you. Julian has to be one of the best characters I've ever written about ever, and I absolutely love what I've done with his story since the start. His love for Kelsey really tested my ability to write romantic and even sexual scenes, while his anger provided a solid weakness for me to work in. Everything about Julian is something I like and enjoy writing, and his Deck was an interesting point for me to use, as many cards in it were OCG-only when I first laid out my ideas. Ultimately, Julian is my favorite character because he pushed my boundaries. Before Seven Spirits, before Chapter 18, I'd never even considered myself able to write what I did. But I managed to push myself beyond those boundaries and prove to myself I could go beyond my experiences and learn new lessons. Julian in Spirit Legends is more of an interesting character to write, as he's living with the pain of Kelsey's death even two years later. His knowledge of the Signers and all the events surrounding the Crimson Dragon, Five Dragons and Earthbound Immortals makes him determined to stop the Dark Signers no matter what, but this very goal will lead him into a confrontation that ultimately will push him to the final limits of his character... a Duel where even if he wins, he loses everything... 2: Kelsey Asagi (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits/Spirit Legends) Kelsey's Deck was like Julian's to write at first, exciting, new cards unreleased in the TCG and ripe for me to use. But I soon found that Koa'ki Meiru cards are not easy to write in a duel where you expect the character to win! Hence, Kelsey became the loser character who wins only one Duel. I hated myself for that and strongly considered rewriting most of the fic just to give Kelsey a Deck she could win with. Her relationship with Julian felt like the only decent thing I was doing when it came to her character, and while it allowed for emotional development, I was still bitter over my failures with the Koa'ki Meiru cards and I strongly felt I needed to make her Deck better somehow. But with me, that led into insane plot twists until I finally had perhaps the most controversial idea in the whole fic, and in fact the primary reason I decided to do Spirit Legends as a rewrite of 5D's. Thus, Kelsey died in Chapter 30, a move which certainly hurt me and hurt Julian a lot. But bringing Kelsey back as a Dark Signer, with a powerful new 'Earthbound' Deck, allowed me to finally grant her some victories, and that somewhat improved the whole thing for me. Despite the fact it tore down any chance of tying Seven Spirits into 5D's canon! Kelsey in Spirit Legends is less of a main character, as her appearances are sporadic. However, once I hit the Dark Signer arc, she'll appear a lot more, along with her child, Julia Asagi. As the Dark Signer of the Condor Mark, Kelsey uses Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca, mightiest of the seven. And don't worry folks, she'll certainly bring it out in style! But yeah, this love story with Julian and Kelsey may or may not have a happy ending... 3: Yamato Orimoto (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits) Yamato was my first real attempt at the decent celebrity character. There's almost an expectation that male celebrites have swollen egos etc, but with Yamato I decided to present someone level-headed and sensible, while still capable of kicking some serious ass in a Duel. Thus, I created Yamato, the protege of Aster Phoenix and inheritor of the Destiny Heroes. Yamato provided me with the chance to write an OTK, which I achieved very well, to my utter amazement. But my favorite aspect of Yamato is his relationship with Mayumi Tsurugi, almost a Romeo and Juliet style thing in that they're destined to be enemies, yet somehow fell in love. Yamato and Mayumi run the two single most effective Decks I've seen, Tele-DAD for Yamato and Lightsworns for Mayumi. This leaves Gladiator Beasts open for the future, but for now, Yamato and Mayumi's Decks are my interest. Yamato is a decent character, willing to help Julian out in any way he can and generally being very kind and respectful. The fact that Yamato has basically reverted back to using his Tele-DAD Deck instead of the D-Heroes doesn't make him any less epic in my eyes, and he still manages to win quite effectively. 4: Ryutaro Miyamoto (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits) The main villain is here! With Ryutaro, I created a character able to manipulate people without even a single shred of regret. He plays on Julian's desire to bring Kelsey back, despite knowing that Kelsey is in fact still alive as a Dark Signer, and manipulates the other Vessels of the Seven Spirits in similar fashions. Thus, Ryutaro has to be shown as an incredible villain, obsessed with the nature of being divine and planning to become a god with the powers of the Seven Spirits to make the world 'pure and perfect'. Ryutaro's Decks so far have been varied, but his final Deck will tie together its two predecessors into one theme that makes perfect sense. Certainly, you'll all hate Ryutaro in the final duel. 5: Kisara Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits) Kisara has to be the single most controversial character in Seven Spirits, if only for her surname. The fact that she's the niece of Seto Kaiba and daughter of Mokuba Kaiba perhaps might make her more acceptable, but even so, her last name is a matter of fame in the Yu-Gi-Oh! unvierses. Her Deck is actually an opposite to her uncle's, relying on the Red-Eyes Black Dragon and its variants, in combination with other Dragons. However, once she gained the Blue-Eyes White Dragons, hello unbeatable. She has proven to be very powerful in duels following that, and she looks set to get better. Here's something the reviewers may find interesting: Kisara's chants for her Blue-Eyes Radiant Dragon and Red-Eyes Umbral Dragon are based off of the oaths for the Blue and Red Lantern Corps in the Green Lantern comics! My Fics In Progress/Completed Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Seven Spirits: (T, Completed) The premise is simple enough, a group of vigilantes in Satellite inspired by Team Satisfaction working to make things better by bringing down criminals. These four are Julian Mikuro, Kelsey Asagi, Milo Kawasaki and Drago Yuki, and together they work to bring down corruption and injustice in the Satellite together. However, when Julian recieves an invitation to a tournament in New Domino City, he is almost killed by one Signer and forms a fierce rivalry with another that soon leads to the revelation of the mysterious 'Flamvell Nidhogg' card he has held for years as one of the Apocalypse-bringing Seven Spirits. From that point on, the fic takes a darker turn and the Duels become more exciting and epic, concluding with a Duel spanning the whole of Time and Space! Seven Spirits began my Yu-Gi-Oh fic writing, and I still look back with fond memories at the chapters. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Spirit Legends: (T, In Progress) Spirit Legends retains much of the plot of 5D's, and spans through the Fortune Cup and Dark Signer arcs of the series. It also goes into the six month interval between the Dark Signer and World Riding Grand Prix/Infinity arcs. A few small differences are made to the plotline, but these will be minor indeed. One note: I primarily use dub dialogue when writing the fic chapters, but on occasion I will modify the original dialogue to fit in, as there is only so much 4Kids scripting I can really work in if an original line works better (especially the sheer reliance on the USELESS card explainations! Just have the characters explain properly for heaven's sake!). Dub terms will on the whole be used, though sometimes I use the original terms if the dub was really too ridiculous (for example, I will use Team Satisfaction as opposed to The Enforcers). I am planning to include the events of the 5D's OVA and the Tenth Anniversary Movie in Spirit Legends as well. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Shadowchasers Shrouded World: (T, In Progress/Hiatus) Of course, being a Shadowchasers fic, Shrouded World incorporates creatures of fantasy such as orcs, elves, dwarves and so forth. It also features the Shadowchaser exclusive card, Jalal the Dragonborn, which belongs to Cyber Commander as his property. Shrouded World was my stab at a work based on the ingenious idea of another author, and since a LOT of the spin-off Shadowchasers fics are set in America, I wanted to bring Europe into focus, considering that the Shadowchasers began in Europe according to the background laid out by Cyber Commander. Shrouded World is corrently on hiatus, but I am planning to continue with it soon. With some luck, you'll see this fic back in full view once more! Future Fics: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Crashtown Destinies: (T?) Crashtown Destinies will be probably my first fic to adhere to the banlist throughout (other than Shrouded World). All cards will follow their current Forbidden/Limited list status, though an exception of sorts will be made for Dark Strike Fighter, which will use its anime effect and its original name of Dark Dive Bomber. In essence, YGO 5D's CD is my way of explaining why, if Dyne is so profitable, more people haven't tried to oppose Marco and Ramon in order to get access to the supply in Crashtown. I was inspired by American Prohibition, where it wasn't just one gang per town or city running the speakeasies, it was multiple gangs all in competition with one another, which often led to violent consequences (as with the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago). Yu-Gi-Oh! GX/5D's Crystal Heroes: (T?) Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Cyber Shadows: (T?) Favorite Songs: Favorite Quotes: T.S. Eliot: Between the idea and the reality, between the motion and the act, falls the Shadow T.S. Eliot: This is the way the world ends, not with a bang, but a whimper. Winston Churchill: Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Clustering bonds weave a greater force! Become the path its light shines upon! Shine, Fleur de Chevalier!" 0 Yusei: The time for you to change has come. Your pleasure for destruction, that has tormented you all this time... Hasn't that pain... changed into a pain that we, who bear the same mark, all share? The mark that has guided us all... This pain is asking us for something. And to find the answer, we must think on our own. As Yusei speaks, all four of the Signers clutch at their Dragon Marks Yusei: Couldn't it be that this mark holds the answer? Don't leave your thinking to others, think for yourself! Aki: What does a witch like me need to think about?! So long as Divine shows me the way and loves me, then-- Yusei: No! You have to love yourself! Aki: If I could do that... if I could... NO!! I can't! Can't you see that I'm suffering?! (Episode 24, original version) Aki: I wish everything would just go away... Don't try to make me think! You're a wretched foe! Yusei: If I am, why are you crying? (Episode 24, original version) Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Jaden: Well Alexis, I guess that means I'm your fiance! Syrus: He's really going through with it? Jasmine: Oh my! Jaden: So... what does 'fiance' mean anyway? (Episode 15 'Courting Alexis') Two workmen are talking about Dr. Crowler Workman #1: You know, I didn't know he was a doctor. Workman #2: I didn't know he was a dude. (Episode 18 'King of the Copycats Part 1') Zane: I'm sorry. But it's time for you to go home. Blair: Starts crying Jaden: Wait, why does she have to go home? 'Cause you say so, hello? She's a student here in Duel Academy and a good one! Zane: Jaden, she has to go home. Jaden: Huh? Oh, I see whatcha doin' here, Zane. You're pushing her out because she is a good student. Ha! Cause she might dethrone you! Alexis: Laughs Zane: She had to go home 'cause she's in second grade. Jaden: ...Uh, say what?! (Episode 20 'The Maiden in Love') Bastion: Wait, if this isn't a Shadow Game, then how did he shroud the duel arena in darkness? Would someone care to... explain that? Sailor: Sir, we've fixed the lights in the arena! Chazz, Bastion, and Alexis: Anime fall (Episode 38 'Get Yarr Game On') Chazz: Where's your duel disk anyway? Sartorious: Who needs a duel disk when you have this! Table appears Chazz: Uh, you realize that's a table, don't you? (Episode 61 'I've Seen The Light') Supreme King: You feel that? It's hopelessness. It's fear and panic and terror! It devoured your little friend Jaden and shattered all the good, but unlike your little friend the darkness has no use for you! (Episode 140 'A Sight Unseen Part 2') Jaden: You... Adrian! How could you do that to Aster?! Adrian: Is it any worse than what you did to your friends? Heh, I don't think so. (Episode 145 'The Forbidden Ritual Part 2) Halo 3 Ship Master: Did you not hear? Your world is doomed. A Flood army, a Gravemind, has you in its sights. You barely survived a small contamination. Lord Hood: And you, Ship Master, just glassed half a continent! Maybe the Flood isn't all I should be worried about. Ship Master: One single Flood spore can destroy a species. Were it not for the Arbiter's counsel, I would have glassed your entire planet! (Cutscene between Floodgate and The Ark missions) Prophet of Truth: Your forefathers wisely set aside their compassion, steeled themsleves for what needed to be done. I see now why they left you behind. You were weak. And gods must be strong. (Cutscene within the Level 'The Covenant') Prophet of Truth: Can you see, Arbiter? The moment of salvation is at hand. Arbiter: (grabbing Truth by the throat) It will not last. Prophet of Truth: Your kind... never believed in the promise of the sacred rings. Gravemind: (speaking through Truth) Lies for the weak. Beacons for the deluded. Arbiter: I will have my revenge on a Prophet, not a plague. Prophet of Truth: My feet tread the path, I shall become a god! Gravemind: You will be food, nothing more. (The Master Chief walks over to the console and presses a button, stopping the firing sequence.) Prophet of Truth: No!! I… am… Truth! The voice of the Covenant! Arbiter: And so, you must be silenced. (The Arbiter impales the Prophet of Truth, who screams before he dies.) (Cutscene within 'The Covenant) Gravemind: (mocking laughter) Now the gate has been unlatched, headstones pushed aside, corpses shift and offer room, a fate you must abide! Arbiter: We trade one villain for another. (Cutscene within 'The Covenant') 343 Guilty Spark: (Addressing the Master Chief) You are the child of my makers. Inheritor of all they left behind. You are Forerunner. But this ring is mine! (Cutscene within the Level 'Halo') The Dark Knight: Harvey Dent: You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. 0 Bruce Wayne: Targeting me won't get their money back. I knew the mob wouldn't go down without a fight, but this is different. They crossed the line. Alfred: You crossed the line first, sir. You squeezed and hammered them to the point of desperation. And in their desperation they turned to a man they didn't fully understand. Bruce Wayne: Criminals aren't complicated, Alfred. We just need to figure out what he's after. Alfred: With respect, Master Wayne, perhaps this is a man that you don't fully understand either. A long time ago, I was in Burma. My friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never met anyone who had traded with him. One day I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing the stones away. Bruce Wayne: So why steal them? Alfred: Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn. 0 Alfred: I prepared a little breakfast. Bruce does not respond. Alfred: Very well, then. Bruce Wayne: Alfred… Alfred: Yes, Master Wayne? Bruce Wayne: Did I bring this on her? I was meant to inspire good. Not…madness. Not…death. Alfred: You have inspired good. But you spat in the faces of Gotham's criminals; didn't you think there might be some casualties? Things were always gonna get worse before they got better. Bruce Wayne: But Rachel, Alfred… Alfred: Rachel believed in what you stood for. What we stand for. Gotham needs you. Bruce Wayne: No, Gotham needs its true hero…and I let that murdering psychopath blow him half to hell. Alfred: Which is why, for now, they're gonna have to make do with you. Bruce Wayne: She was gonna wait for me, Alfred. Dent doesn't know. He can never know. Hearing this, Alfred decides to retract the letter and takes it with him. Bruce Wayne: What's that? Alfred: It can wait. Bruce Wayne: That bandit in the forest in Burma…did you catch him? Alfred: Yes. Bruce Wayne: How? Alfred: We burned the forest down. 0 Bruce Wayne: I've seen now what I'd have to become to stop men like him. 0 Joker: Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it! You know…I just do things. The mob has plans. The cops have plans. Gordon's got plans. You know…they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So when I say… ah, come here. When I say that you and your girlfriend was nothing personal, you'll know that I'm telling the truth. It's the schemers… that put you where you are. You were a schemer, and you had plans. And, uh... look where that got ya. Once Harvey's other wrist is free, he attempts to grab The Joker, the two struggling with each other until The Joker grabs a hold of Harvey's hands, moving them from side to side Joker: I just did what I do best. I took your little plan and I turned it on itself! Look at what I did to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets. Hm? You know–you know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan"… even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I told the press that, like, a gang-banger will get shot, or a truck load of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that one little old mayor will die... well, then everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, then everything becomes…chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair. 0 Gordon: They'll hunt you. Batman: You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because that's what needs to happen. Because sometimes...the truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded. Batman runs Gordon's Son Jimmy: Batman? Batman! Why is he running, Dad? Gordon: Because we have to chase him. Gordon's Son Jimmy: He didn't do anything wrong. Gordon: Because he's the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight. Doctor Who: Rose: Oh, here's trouble. What you been up to? The Doctor: Oh, this and that. Became the imaginary friend of a future French aristocrat, picked a fight with a clockwork man... A whinny is heard from off screen Oh, and I met a horse. Mickey: What's a horse doing on a spaceship? The Doctor: Mickey, what's pre-revolutionary France doing on a spaceship? Get a little perspective! Cyber Leader: Daleks, be warned. You have declared war upon the Cybermen. Dalek Sec: This is not war. This is pest control! Cyber Leader: We have five million Cybermen. How many are you? Dalek Sec: Four. Cyber Leader: You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks? Dalek Sec: We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek! You are superior in only one respect. Cyber Leader: What is that? Dalek Sec: You are better at dying. The Doctor: Oi! Santa! A word of advice. If you're attacking a man with a sonic screwdriver... The Doctor picks up a microphone and speaks into it Don't let him near the sound system. John Smith: Mankind doesn't need warfare and bloodshed to prove itself. Everyday life can provide honour and valour. Let's hope that from now on this country can find its heroes in smaller places. In the most ordinary of deeds. Baines/Son of Mine: All your little tin soldiers. But tell me sir, will they thank you? Headmaster: I don't understand. Baines/Son of Mine: What do you know of history? What do you know of next year? Headmaster: You're not making sense. Baines/Son of Mine: 1914, sir. Because the Family has traveled far and wide looking for Mr. Smith and oh, the things we have seen! War is coming. In foreign fields, war of the whole wide world, with all your boys falling down in the mud. Do you think they will thank the man who taught them it was glorious?! Tim Latimer: He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful. Baines/Son of Mine: He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing - the fury of the Time Lord - and then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he had run away from us and hidden... He was being kind. He wrapped my father in unbreakable chains forged in the heart of a dwarf star. He tricked my mother into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy to be imprisoned there, forever. He still visits my sister, once a year, every year. I wonder if one day he might forgive her, but there she is. Can you see? He trapped her inside a mirror. Every mirror. If ever you look at your reflection and see something move behind you just for a second, that's her. That's always her. As for me, I was suspended in time and the Doctor put me to work standing over the fields of England, as their protector. We wanted to live forever. So the Doctor made sure we did. The Doctor: I've had a whole year to tune myself into the psychic network and integrate with its matrices. The Master: Stop! I order you to stop! The Doctor: The one thing you can't do... is stop them thinking. He begins rising upwards angelically Tell me the human race is degenerate now... when they can do this. The Master: with a look of horror and disbelief No!! He shoots at the Doctor, but the laser energy is absorbed by a forcefield The Doctor: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. The Doctor advances towards the terrified Master The Doctor: You wouldn't listen. Because you know what I'm going to say... The Master huddles in a corner, hiding his face. The Doctor descends to the ground and puts his arms around the Master soothingly. The Doctor: I forgive you. The Doctor: We've got control of the Valiant, you can't launch. The Master: Oh, but I've got this He holds up a disk Black hole converter inside every ship. If I can't have this world, Doctor, then neither can you! We shall stand upon this Earth, together, as it burns! The Doctor: Weapon, after weapon, after weapon. All you do is talk, and talk, and talk. But over all these years... and all these disasters, I've always had the greatest secret of them all. I know you. Explode those ships, you kill yourself... that's the one thing you can never do. The Doctor: Wait, wait, wait, wait! Security protocol one, do you hear me, one! The host pause Ok. That gives me three questions. three questions to save my life, am I right? A Host: Information. Correct. The Doctor: ..No! That wasn't one of them! I didn't mean it , can I start again? A Host: Information. No. the Doctor: No! no, no, no! That wasn't a question either! Blimey... one question left. So, you've been given orders to kill the survivors but survivors, therefore, must be passengers or staff. But not me. I'm not a passenger. I'm not staff. Go ahead, scan me. You must have bio-records for every person onboard. I don't exist. Therefore, you can't kill me. Therefore, I'm a stowaway. And stowaways should be arrested and taken to the nearest figure of authority. And I reckon, the nearest figure of authority, is on deck 31. Final question. Am I right? A Host: Information. Correct. The Doctor: Brilliant. Take me to your leader. I've always wanted to say that! The Doctor: Oh, that's clever. That's an omni-state impact chamber. Indestructible! You could survive anything in there! You could sit through a supernova... or a shipwreck. Only one person can have the power and the money to hide themselves onboard like this, sing-song and I should know, because- Max: My name is Max! his golden tooth pings The Doctor: taken off-guard It really does that? Doctor: Name? General Staal: General Staal of the ninth Sontaran battle fleet. "Staal The Undefeated!" Doctor: Oh that's no good. What if you get defeated? "Staal The Not-Quite-So-Undefeated-Any-More-But-Never-Mind?" General Staal: We have an intruder! Doctor: How'd he get in? In-tru-da window? Staal: The planet is going nuclear! I admire them; the bravery of idiots is bravery nonetheless! Staal: You impugn my honour, sir. Doctor: Yeah, I'm really glad you didn't say belittle, cos' then I'd have had a field day. (The Poison Sky) The Doctor: You need to get yourself a better dictionary. When you do, look up "genocide". You'll find a little picture of me there, and the caption'll read "Over my dead body". Vashta Nerada: These are our forests, they are our meat. spreads out to attack the Doctor The Doctor: Don't play games with me. beat You just killed someone I liked and that is not a safe place to stand! The Vashta Nerada continue to spread I'm the Doctor and you're in the biggest Library in the universe. pauses Look me up. River: Not those times. Not one line! Don't you dare! It's OK. It's OK, it's not over for you. You'll see me again. You've got all of that to come. You and me, time and space. You watch us run! River's narration: as the Doctor walks away from the Library When you run with the Doctor, it feels like it'll never end. But however hard you try you can't run forever. Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it. Davros: The man who abhors violence, never carrying a gun. But this is the truth, Doctor. You take ordinary people and you fashion them into weapons. Behold your Children of Time transformed into murderers. I made the Daleks, Doctor. You made this. Davros: The Doctor. The man who keeps running, never looking back because he dare not, out of shame. This is my final victory, Doctor. I have shown you yourself. Adelaide: State your name, rank and intention! The Doctor: The Doctor, doctor, fun. The Doctor: Does it have to do that? Roman: I think it's funny. The Doctor: I hate funny robots. The Doctor: Water is patient, Adelaide. Water always wins. The Doctor: I'm not just a survivor. Not any more. I'm the winner. Naruto Shippuden: Sasuke: Begone with the thunderclap... 0 Sasuke: The only brother I have... I want to kill. 0 Sasuke: You know nothing about me. How much hate has filled and enveloped my heart, how much stronger I've grown because of it... You know nothing. 0 Sasuke: If anyone wants to deny my way of living, I'll kill everyone they ever cared about! Maybe then they'll understand... A little of my hatred. 0 Pain: Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just "because." No matter how pathetic the reason, it's enough to start war. War will never cease to exist, reasons can be thought up after the fact. Human nature pursues strife. 0 Pain: I want you to feel pain, to think about pain, to accept pain, to know pain. Those who do not know true pain can never know true peace! 0 Pain: It is precisely because we love that we sacrifice... and hate. 0 Pain: War brings death.. And wounds and pain to both sides. There's nothing harder to accept than the deaths of those you love.. So you believe they could never die.. Especially those who haven't known war.. Like your generation. Kingdom Hearts: Axel: "He...was the only one I liked...he made me feel...like I had a heart. It's kinda...funny. You make me feel...the same..." Roxas: "I think I understand. I see myself the way you remember me, and you see yourself the way I remember you." Xion: "Roxas, don't be sad. I came from you and Sora. I am you... the same way that I am Sora. You'll forget me, but the memories themselves will never go away. Memories of you and me will always be together... forever, inside him." Xemnas: "Heroes from the realm of light, I will not allow it to end this way - not yet. If light and darkness are eternal, surely we nothings are the same! Eternal!" Xemnas: "You accept darkness, yet choose to live in the light. So why is it that you loathe us who teeter on the edge of nothing? We who were turned away by both light and dark - never given a choice?" Sora: The heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out." Riku: "Well, there is one advantage to being me... Something you could never imitate. Having you for a friend." | |||||||
