PLEASE NOTE!

I pretty much took the summer off of reading and writing. I've been writing my newest AH/AU story but it's not quite ready to start posting yet. Good news is that I got past my sticking point and it's flowing a lot easier now. :o) Keep a look out!

Thirtysomething, Navy Wife, Mom of Three. Reading Twilight FF is my obsession. My husband feels like a widower -poor guy- but he loves me so he supports my habit. He's my enabler. Seriously, the man actually brings me bottles of water so I stay hydrated and food so I don't waste away. LOL I just love him so much!

I am just now trying my hand at writing FF. I'm a huge cheerleader of my fav authors and tend to write crazy long reviews -so I don't feel guilty begging for an update five minutes after they JUST posted the last chapter. ;o) I'm a huge Blackwater fan, especially when it's written canon. Like if Jake defies the imprint or, at least, the romantic aspect of it.

True Story:

I didn't discover the books until just after BD was released! My daughter posts art on DeviantArt (as mosspool) and one of her fans/friends drew a wolf named Jacob to celebrate the release of BD. My daughter asked about it and was told she HAD to go out right NOW and read Twilight. I got T and NM for my lil avid reader a few days later.

I will always be thankful for her bringing T to her dentist appt. I was bored and there was her book just sitting there... I'm ashamed to say that I grounded her later that night (She DID deserve it, though!) and I took away her book. LOL She's no dummy, she knew what I was doing. We had a good laugh when I told her that she couldn't have it back till I was done. Three days later I was calling bookstores at 9:30 at night trying to find one open that had E and BD! My husband thought I was NUTS! I'm sure the people at the bookstore did, too. LOL Thankfully, I was able to rush out and get my books before closing so no one had to get hurt. :o)

My daughter thinks it's funny that I am just as big of a fan as she is. We bonded over it all though. I made the 'grounding' up to her, though. I took my 12 year old to the midnight showing of the movie. (I was the coolest mom there, I was told.) AND that Saturday I threw her a Twilight Premiere Birthday Party at the first showing for her and all of her friends (who were into the books, too). I made Twilight invitations, a super special Twilight cake, we had the theater sing her Happy B-Day, she got to start the movie projecter AND the theater showered her with official Twilight promotional gear that Summit had sent them. Luckily for me, my daughter and I have the SAME birthday. LOL She had a blast and so did I.

I will always be thankful to Stephenie Meyer for bringing me and my daughter even closer.
