Author has written 9 stories for Van Helsing, Labyrinth, Ferngully, Lost Boys, and MirrorMask.

Sandra's seen a leprechaun,
Eddie touched a troll,
Laurie danced with witches once,
Charlie found some goblins' gold.
Donald heard a mermaid sing,
Susy spied an elf,
But all the magic I have known
I've had to make myself.

- Magic, by Shel Silverstein

"This is going to take a lot of goblins." - Jareth, from Pika-la-Cynique's Girls Next Door

'Allo, my name is Elisabeth, and yes, you spell it that way. I'm a high-school girl (but please don't hold it against me). And, I am now officially a fandom whore. (Sorry, guys.)

I've got a fictionpress page too. It's around here somewhere... -rummages under couch- Aha! There it is: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/636839/fictionalboyfriend Pay me a visit if you're interested in my views on fairy tales, on Peter Pan in a world that's decided "fairy" is spelled with two 'e's and an 'i', on overrated vampires, or on what happens when Rick Springfield and late nights collide. I'd welcome the attention.

I am a fangirl. Not (hopefully) the terrifying "SQUEEEEEEEEEglomp" kind, but a fangirl nonetheless. Be warned.

I'm a little bit of a grammar/punctuation stickler. If I spell a word wrong, or use the wrong word, or stick random ellipses in somewhere they shouldn't be, and you notice, please point it out so I can fix it. Reviews are my addiction, and I love a good ego-stroking like a dog loves a good belly-rub. (Okay, maybe not...) But if something's wrong with my story, please inform me!

I like to let my writing speak for itself (and I'm a lazy butt, and have a tendency to forget about them until after I've uploaded), so you might not see many Author's Notes on my stories.

I don't really take requests, but if you have a good idea that makes me think, then I might write it.

ANNNND because I'm a bit self-centred and think you might want to know more about me, it's a list of favourites!

Movies: Treasure Planet, Labyrinth (obviously), Peter Pan (2003, Universal), quite possibly Inkheart (I don't know for sure, I've only seen it once, but I was impressed. And Jennifer Connelly was in it.), The Princess Bride, The Lost Boys

Music: Soundtrack music (especially from Disney movies and musicals), Loreena McKennitt, Emilie Autumn, anything sung by John Rzeznik, The Fugitives (Canadian slam-poetry/folk-rock band), Paper Lions, Fall Out Boy, Bowling for Soup

Books: The Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke, Dracula by Bram Stoker, the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray, anything anywhere by Terry Pratchett, ditto for Neil Gaiman, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, the Peter and the Starcatchers trilogy by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Black Tattoo by Sam Enthoven, Larklight by Philip Reeve, Eats, Shoots, and Leaves by Lynne Truss

My fics, summarized and expanded:

Forgotten: 11 chapters up. Status: No longer on hiatus, but still slow to update. The stories all relate to each other, but aren't in any sort of order. I'd like to turn it into an actual story at some point, but I think it's still developing. We'll all have to wait and see. (Oh - and just in case you can't tell, I'm trying to tie Labyrinth to MirrorMask, which is another epically awesome Jim Henson Company movie and was written by Neil Gaiman, who is amazing. Originally, MirrorMask was titled "Curse of the Goblin King", which made me think...)

It Was a Dark and Stormy Night: 20 chapters even. Status: Complete (at last!). I'd like to think it's incredibly original, when, in fact, it's basically the same as so many fics on here. Toby gets taken back to Labyrinth, Sarah follows, angsting about being in love with the Goblin King the whole way. But I have added an extra source of angst - mothers and stepmothers, fairy-tale preconceptions, and the complicated nature of family. At least, I hope so. Sorry to discourage all, but a sequel (at least, by me) is unlikely, as I have no idea for the plot except a lot of mushy JS action, and I don't want to write just that. If anyone else wants to sign on to write the sequel, however, feel free. After all, this is fanfiction, right?

Gerard Butler: Fanfiction? THIS - IS - SPARTA!

Descent: One-shot. Status: Complete. Gabriel Van Helsing may have been the arch-angel Gabriel. But what, exactly, is an angel? How would an angel become a human man? And why? FINALLY finished the second chapter! Please read, and hopefully understand, it!

I Wish: One-shot. Status: Complete. We've been through this so many times before - teenage girl reads/watches Labyrinth, teenage girl gets fed up with baby brother, teenage girl wishes baby brother away, teenage girl defeats Labyrinth to save baby brother, and, occasionally on ff.net, teenage girl shacks up with Goblin King. But what would happen if the roles were reversed and the baby brother wished away the teenaged sister? (No shacking up with the Goblin King included.)

Once Upon a Masquerade: A collab I'm working on with my friend Chloe. Status: In progress, and glacially slow. Please bear with us. Because a little blatant stereotyping is fun when one is spending so much time trying to warp stereotypes, we give you: the evil stepmother! the star-crossed lovers! the ragged princess coming into her own! the glass slipper (or whatever it turns out to be, we're not sure yet)! the masquerade ball! and, of course, the prerequisite happily-ever-after. Or...maybe not...

The Saviour: 3 chapters up. Status: In progress. I saw I guy do this on ficpress once, and was instantly charmed and inspired. It's a Mary-Sue for the FernGully fandom, complete with false Author's Notes to enhance the realism. I think I may be the first Suethor for FernGully. If so, the fandom is either a) tiny or b) lucky, since this is a parody.

Lost Thoughts: 3 chapter fic. Status: Complete. Dipping my toes into the Lost Boys fandom before launching the epic Twilight-parody/origin-story I've got hiding in my notebook. I think I managed to get under the characters' skins pretty well, but others may have other opinions. I'm quite proud of this one, anyway.

Revelations: Quick one-shot. Status: Complete. See what happens when I let Michael type? Gah, that boy is an angst ball.

Fics I'd like to write

Jareth as he relates to Jadis, the White Witch and Empress of Charn. Did she put him on the throne? Can a stolen child rule the Labyrinth, or is it destined to become a goblin? How does magic work? Many, many questions buzzing around my head, and they may not be answered for a long time. Another one about mothers and things, I'm afraid. (Stolen from Pika-la-Cynique, who drew the picture that made me think of this.)

What would happen if Twilight took place in Santa Carla? (Let me give you a hint: there won't be any 'vegetarians', and the only sparkles are on Star's skirt.)

An origins thingie for the Lost Boys that doesn't have them acting like Anne Rice characters at worst or good little boys at best. (This might end up being combined with the Twilight rewrite/parody.)

Tam Lin retold with Labyrinth characters. (Well, Toby and Tam Lin are both technically stolen children. And there's faerie queens in both...)

A crossover between X-Men: Evolution and Disney's Enchanted. (This will probably never get written.)

A crossover between Repo! The Genetic Opera and RENT. (Once again, probably will never get written. Although I have started planning for it...)

Aaaaand because I'm a nerd, a crack!fic where Sarah goes to Berkeley to study acting, and meets Troy Bolton, Christine Daae, and a host of other interesting fellows. It wouldn't be deep. It would be silly. But it would be fun to write.

Now that I've set you up, please read on!
