Author has written 15 stories for Supernatural. Hi guys! UPDATE: September 12, 2011: I'm so, so sorry for being out so long. As most of you have probably guessed by now, I'm on hiatus. RL caught up. But to my fellow readers, do know that the sequel to "Home" is in the works, and I'm aiming to have it up and ready by the end of the month. Can't make any guarantees of course, but it is coming, along with another three-parter fic that will be uploaded right around christmas time. Thanks again so much for being patient. I'll see you soon. ;P Well, first off, thanks so much for taking the time to check out my profile. A little bit about me: My real name is Tina and I live in the vast-historical and unbelievably boring state of Virginia. My user name is after my cat that passed away a couple years ago. Miss you Baby! I'm 24 years old. I'm broke (though now I work in a winery--weird, how I don't drink?), and FINALLY have just moved out from my parents house. And...I love to write! As I'm sure most of us can relate. It's what gets me up in the morning (besides my annoying phone) and keeps me up all night. It's been an on and off passion of mine since I was a kid. But the moment I was introduced to fanfiction--my passion has once again taken a life on its own. Now I'm not saying I'm good at it. The few novel-like fics I have produced so far, I can say, are works in progress. They're practice, because ultimately I would like to publish a book...or a script...or something of that nature one day. But...I'm just not there yet. A recent graduate from college with a useless degree, I pretty much spend most of my effort to this amazing fandom and site. I have met a great many awesome -a few fun, eccentric and quirky- individuals, who make each and everyday an adventure. The enthusiasm I see for the world of writing is such a relief, and yet, an enjoyable experience. I'm a movie fan. I love movies! I think I watch more movies than I read books. I can't tell you the last time I read a book (cringes sheepishly). But the ones I have read are oriented around the paranormal, monsters, and gore. I love Stephen King and Dean Kootnz. Not too long ago I finished King's new one "Under the Dome", and Holy Cow, you talk about a jaw-dropper. In short, I'm a gore-fan. Love the blood, the guts, you name it!! So far the fandom I've written for is Supernatural. Having started watching the show in Season 3, I can say I am a 'radically enthusiastic' fan. I absolutely loved Season 3. To the point where, during a school trip to Greece, my former roommate (Mooloon) and I hauled ass to an internet cafe at 7 in the morning to watch the season 3 finale. Needless to say by the end of that episode, that internet manager was never going to let us back in that cafe again. Season 4 completely blew me away; Season 5 practically gave me a heart attack; and now Season 6 is shaping up to be one of the best. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed -though my parents would beg to differ- I love a good storyline. And of all the books and TV shows that I've seen, Supernatural has one of the most compelling, mysterious, suspenseful, and totally gung-ho plots I've encountered. In short, it's epic. To me, it has many elements that just..."sucks"... ya right in. And it gives so much room for fanfiction. The characters and the plot elements are a lot of fun. Kripke, I have to say, you are a bonafide literary genius! And thank you! And thanks to the staff writers (Sera, Ben, Jeremy, Julie, and of course we can't forget the two guys who brought us Yellow Fever!) and its directors, its staff, and its cast. And of course, a tremendous thank you to the guys! Jensen and Jared sell the characters so well...it's like they're real people actually facing the impossible. It's inspiring, truthfully! As most of my readers know, I'm a SamGirl. Give me hurt, limp, horribly maimed, sick, angsty, badass Sam any day. I write a lot of hurt/comfort fics. I'm just demented that way, I suppose. Don't get me wrong, I love Dean too! But I can't describe what it is about Sammy. It's gotta be those eyes, and that geeky brain of his...and let's not forget, that perky ass! (To quote Pamela: You can bounce a nickel off that thing!) And I don't know about you guys, but I love it when Sammy uses his powers. To me, it makes him such a badass. Come on, if you had the power to kill with your mind-wouldn't you put it to good use? There's a whole lotta people I'd like to kill off...ha, just kidding. Except for his addiction to demon blood...ehhhh, I draw the line there. It's just gross! Right along the same lines as Wincest. Hmm, I have no comment on that one. *ick* Supernatural has done a lot for me. And again not just the show (that would be my reprieve every week), but resorting back to the fanfiction, it gives me a lot of practice to figure a particular style, or genre that I'm comfortable with. And the feedback I've received has been truly helpful and awesome!! At this point, I want to thank everybody who has given me a review, a pm, a favorite author alert, favorite story alert. You guys, this fandom, is truly amazing! Without you, I'd probably crawl back into my hole...either that or climb another billboard. So again, thanks guys! Joby ;p P.S.
