Author has written 11 stories for Twilight. As many of you realize I am not as active in the fanfiction community as I was at one time. Even so, writing and participating in this part of the fandom has always been a pleasure, from my first posting (11 reviews!) to all the friends and relationships I have made over the last couple of years. This support is what made me take the chance and write my own original fiction book(s) that I have spent the last several years writing and editing in hopes of publishing at some point. Through lots of thinking (and stressing) I have decided to leave my fanfiction account and stories up under my original penname. Here are the reasons why: The books I plan to publish are original works and bear no resemblance to my fanfiction. There doesn’t seem to be any reason for me to take it down. My name is not the same and it is not really relevant.I personally disagree with the way fanfiction is viewed in the publishing/literary world. Who cares? It’s simply stories people write for entertainment. What bearing does this have on anything else? None as far as I can see.I truly appreciate the support and sense of community in this part of the fandom. Hopefully, I can manage to keep a toe in both worlds. I’m not really ready to leave yet even if creatively I’ve moved on to other projects. I will keep reviews and PMs open on this account.
