Author has written 11 stories for Star Wars, and Naruto. Fanfiction writing is an unfortunate hobby I engage in during my not-so-free time. I have tried to stop, since I really have other things to focus on, yet the habit has prevailed. If a story idea enters my mind, it ingrains itself and will not let me rest until I have written it. Since joining this site, I have discovered the addictive power of the review. This amazing entity has the ability to not only motivate writing, but actually create inspiration for new works, and generally leave me with warm, fuzzy feelings. They are the reason I no longer consider myself a reluctant writer. I appreciate and respond to all signed reviews. I've been writing fanfiction long before actually joining this site. My younger brother used to be the only reader of my works, and he pestered me for years to post them on fanfiction. So I shall acknowledge him here and thank him for the aggravating motivation that only a beloved little sibling can provide. I tend to appreciate noble, self-sacrificing characters like Umino Iruka from Naruto, Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, and Link from the Legend of Zelda series. (My very first foray into fanfiction was in the Legend of Zelda universe.) A strong sense of duty and honor, chivalrous charm or social awkwardness, and a disciplined manner will generally endear me to a character. What can I say? I like nice guys. I also have a soft spot for minor characters, such as the various chunnin in Konoha, knights like Kent from Fire Emblem and Oscar from Fire Emblem:Path of Radiance (I used to be as obsessed with Oscar as I currently am with Iruka), or Quill, the Rito postman from Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. On the other hand, I also appreciate brilliant, ammoral villians like Kabuto from Naruto. Once I begin posting a story, updates should be regular. The plot will hold me hostage until it is completed. I write because I must... But I have yet to figure out why must I write. Stories in the Not Over Til The Paperwork Is In universe: 1. Shattered- Something of a prequel. It's alluded to in the main story. 2. Not Over Til The Paperwork Is In (obviously) 3. In Defense of the Tamer by chibi heishi - An absolutely delightful sidefic that she wrote for the main story. Laughter by RealBookAholic - Another amusing sidefic! This one-shot deals with the aftermath of Kakashi's punishment of Hanabi in the classroom (ie hanging her upside down from the window). It focuses on Kakashi and Iruka's burgeoning friendship. 6. The following stories, while not directly related to the events in Not Over..., can still be considered part of the same universe. PrimulaD also designed a beautiful cover for Sharpening Iron! 3. Snowblooms produced a most fitting depiction of Kakashi, Pakkun, and Feline!Iruka maneuvering for Alpha in Cataclysm. 4. Slinkymilinky created an awesomely adorable scene with Feline!Iruka and Kakashi at Ichiraku's from Cataclysm
Shattered- 11/11/09: The 2nd chapter of has been re-done. My original version of chapter 2 (that I worked on for weeks) was lost in a computer crash. I recently recovered it on an old back up disk. I blended the best of the original version with the previously posted one and am much happier with the result. I'm working on a few other projects.
