Author has written 22 stories for Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: CI, Ugly Betty, and Devil Wears Prada.

For those who are wondering, my profile pic is myself, laughing hysterically, with award-winning film, television, and stage character actors Sy Richardson and Pruitt Taylor Vince, who were my costars in my most recent production, "I'm Not Rappaport". Yes, I'm totally bragging right now. If it were you, you'd do the same, so get over it.

I am a senior at LSU-Shreveport, where I am majoring in French and Criminal Justice. My real passion, however, is acting and writing for the stage. I am currently involved with the Black Box Theatre program at LSUS, where I have served as an actor, writer, and assistant director for several productions.

I love musicals--especially those of Mr. Webber's creation. I taught myself to play the piano just so that I could play "Music of the Night". I will watch a crummy movie just because one actor has a five minute scene that is truly moving. I sing in the shower. I name my cats after old film stars: Bacall (after Lauren Bacall), and Bogart (after Humphrey Bogart). I understand the dying art of laughing at oneself and am quite good at it. I believe any hour before 10 am is ungodly. I once had my life saved by a secret service agent in Madison Square Gardens. I love to play pool, although I'm horrible at it. I am a member of the Cadet Corps and a former Student Ambassador to Europe (France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy) and a former junior delegate for the RNC in NYC for the great state of Louisiana.

I enjoy using characters and storylines that are well-known (and often well beloved!) and turning them upside down. I like writing the same story from several different viewpoints--for example, the same event may resurface in several different stories, each time told from a new angle, yet it is always the same story. I like the idea of perception affecting truth, and the belief that we are all simply "shades of grey"--neither black nor white, good nor evil.

And, as much as I pretend not to care, yes, reviews do put a narcissitic little smile on my face. I try to reply to everyone who drops a line; if you leave a review and don't get a reply then I promise that I had intended to message you back, but sadly my little brain has only so much memory space. I hold the belief that I have the memory span of a goldfish (3 seconds, if you're wondering). Constructive criticism is something I tend to favor in a reviewer--I can't learn if you don't show me the mistakes!

I am also a writer for FanFiction's sister-site, FictionPress.com http://www.fictionpress.com/~themarvelousmadmadammim, where I produce non-fan based fiction under the same pen name.

A BIT OF INFO ON CATS FICS:

For the most part, my stories are "linked", meaning that the same events are referenced in separate stories, sometimes from different points of view. While it is not neccessary to do so, the following stories can be read in conjunction with one another: The Red Queen, Prisoner of Darkness, Strange One, and the Dark Side Series. (I would recommend reading them in that order as well, since that is how they were written).

I would also recommend that you do read the Dark Side Series in order: The Dark Side of the Son, The Reckoning, The Darkest Hour (Just Before Dawn), and The Power Within. For the sake of comprehension. :)

Happy Reading, Chickadees!
