Author has written 33 stories for Harry Potter, and Doctor Who. Update March 2012. I'm backish, writing but slowly. It's been a REALLY hard 18 months with 4 large quakes hitting so far and causing major damage in the suburb I live in (including our house, which will be demolished in the near future forcing yet another move *sigh*), but I'm hoping we're through the last of it and have tentatively started writing again. I have several short projects that I started but never finished which I am working on and intend to finish them all, then I hope to maybe try and get back to GPatBWL - no promises though. I've found that one a real challenge trying to get back into the first person mindset after so long. Anyway, I'm back which is happy! Update 25/02/11. The city has been hit by yet another devastating earthquake. It's much worse this time and people are dead. No power or water to much of the city, including my house so we have been displaced for the time being. I have put all fandom writing on hold for the foreseeable future. I don't know when or if I will be writing again. Profile update 18/09/10: I'm sorry I haven't been writing lately. The city I live in was hit by a huge earthquake 2 weeks ago and there is so much damage and stress and sadness that I just haven't been focused on writing at all. All my energy has been going into focusing on getting me and my family through the aftershocks (which are still ongoing) and the really uncertain future we all face. I will be back to writing sometime but I can't guarantee when that will be. Update 25/10/10 -- so I have managed to do some more writing, yay! I haven't got back to GPatBWL but I am turning possible plotlines over in my head. However, I am doing NaNoWriMo again so I suspect any updates on that one will be from December onwards. On a positive note I find that NaNo unlocks my fanfic as well so I tend to write a lot in December. Hopefully that will include GPatBWL :D Ok, so I guess the most important thing to know about me is that I'm a total Harry/Ginny shipper. I can't imagine any other pairing for either of them ... at least not seriously. So everything I've ever written has had a strong H/G focus. I'm afraid if you don't like that ship you're not going to like what I write :P Most of what I write is angsty romance; I do like torturing characters then giving them a happy ending. I'll be adding stories reasonably often so if you like what you see, please check back for more. I'm always pleased to see you all here! Ah, the quaint rules we make for ourselves when we write 'short' pieces. I have amended my 'only post when it's finished' rule to 'only post if I'm 5,000+ words ahead' which is why I am already posting the sequel to GWaTBWL. Because I am insane (I'm sure) I have about a million things in the works, most of them long (see, insane), so apart from GPaTBWL there may not be much of anything else posted for a while. | |||||||
