WELCOME TO MY PROFILE PAGE!!

Greetings to one and all! Here's a few things I bet you didn't know about me...

My name is Aron (I know, such an obscure relation to my username, ain't it?) and at the time of writing this little summary of myself, I'm seventeen years and... almost three months old. My birthday is on the greatest day of the year, August 10th, so any birthday well-wishes or gift-fics should be put up around then, unless you want to make a very laughable and awkward situation by posting them sometime around November, haha!

I'm from New South Wales, which is on the eastern coast of Australia, the greatest country-continent in the world (and, appropriately, the only inhabitable country-continent in the world...) and I absolutely love where I am. It's a nice quiet spot here in my hometown, and it lets me chill out whenever I feel like it. Ahh, the joys of isolation sometimes...

I like most music and TV shows, the first being everything from rock to pop to techno, and the latter going from Simpsons to NCIS, the Pokemon series (of course!) and other anime, even cartoons such as Teen Titans and Ben 10. I'm not much of a book-reader, but the ones I do enjoy reading are definitely worth the effort of staying up for hours on end at night.

I joined FanFiction on October 8th, 2008. So far, the only things I’ve really been writing are Pokémon fics, but that suits me just fine; I’ve been a fan of the franchise ever since it was first released outside of Japan, and between me and my brother we own all the mainstream games.

STORIES, PRESENT AND FUTURE

THE WORLD AND BEYOND: A POKÉMON MASTER TRILOGY

1) The World Pokémon Championships (a.k.a WPC)

This is my maiden story; my first head-long jump into the world of FanFiction, and I'm glad to report that it's all green lights as far as I can see (or have been told by the readers). The story begins with Ash, Brock, Dawn and Pikachu arriving at Ayers Island - located just beyond the south-western edge of the Orange Archipelago - for the 8th annual rendition of the titular event. I can't give away many more details (otherwise it would ruin everything!) so you'll just have to read the story to find out more...

This story is a pretty major project of mine, being the first part of my World And Beyond trilogy, so as you'd expect I take a great deal of pride in it. Having said that, I reckon it'd be hugely awesome if someone, somewhere (purely on the basis of enjoying my story) wanted to compose a side-fic that was based on the WaB timeline; truly, I'd be honoured if it could inspire other authors. So if the idea has sprung to your mind, feel free to drop me a line however which way you'd like to let me know about it.

OCEAN MUSIC

Takes place at the mythical Shamouti Island, on the week of the Legend Festival, where the lovely Melody is still the festival's maiden. However, a young man - seeking to find himself in the world of Pokemon - stumbles across the island by mistake and is crowned the "Chosen One" of the festival, much to both his and Melody's dismay. Their personalities clash as fiercely as the Titans of Fire, Ice and Lightning themselves as this Trainer looks not only for the legendary spheres, but their legendary keepers...

Now wouldn't THAT be an awesome summary, eh?! But anyways...

THE AFFECTION COLLECTION

A collection of one-shot pairings that I've composed. There will be 50 chapters, each one with a different pairing, and the same character will rarely (if ever) be used more than once in the collection. What pairings might there be, I hear you asking? Well, you'll just have to wait and see! Each ship will have it's own chapter, and at the end I'll do a special 51st chapter, which will feature a ship of the two characters that you - the readers - say are the favourite man and woman of all of them.

More information on this story will come along as I finish planning and/or drafting the 50 chapters, so check back periodically for updates, or to ask about any of the occurring ships.
