Just in case anyone wants to know who I am...

I've been in fanfiction.net for so long but I've never ventured into writing. Not for lack of ideas or even writing skills... Perhaps, I am more like a leech?

In here, I can escape from the dank reality of life and for a few hours, I can assume an identity not my own.

Sometimes, I hate the way that I use fanfiction. Its almost like a drug that I simply cannot put down. I feel disgusted at the new lows of morality I allow myself to succumb to. But, regardless of how dirty I feel, I cannot give this up... This tortured release is the only thing I know that can manage to blot out the noise.

But anyways, I chose the name flaming-amber - not because I like to 'flame' people... and while I am a Rurouni Kenshin fan, its not because of his eyes... flaming-amber is the colour of the sunset or the sunrise, whichever you might want...

I like to think that it is my job to read fanfics and give constructive criticism..
