Author has written 9 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Sailor Moon.

A little about me (if you're interested)

I'm Christian, American, female, and kind of scatterbrained. I also have a habit of occasionally referring to myself in third person.

I love reading Sailor Moon fanfiction, but I'm also a frequent lurker in the Zelda, Pretear, and Princess Tutu sections. I love fantasy-ish epics (preferably with a happy ending), fluffy one-shots, and romance as long as it's somewhat realistic and not overly sappy. For the most part I prefer canon-based or AU over AR/"what if" stories. Even though I've read some reeeally bad ones, I'm still a sucker for neo senshi stories. =.=

Time out for a mini-rant: "Sailormoon" is not more correct that "Sailor Moon." "Tuxedo Kamen" is not more correct than "Tuxedo Mask." "Senshi" is not more correct than "soldiers." Japanese is not inherently cooler than English.

As for my writing, I write mostly Sailor Moon fics. I stick to the Japanese names and base things almost exclusively on the manga version. (With one exception for Perle, because he's awesome, and anyway the SuperS movie doesn't fit into any particular version of the story.) My favorite character is probably Sailor Venus. I have a bad habit of making plots way too complex, and then losing track of them. x.x

I always appreciate reviews, especially constructive criticism. If something is wrong or can be improved in my writing, I want to know! It's the only way to get better. Those kind of comments are the best encouragement and motivation to keep writing! That said, I would never hold a story hostage or discontinue it because of lack of reviews. If I start a project, I want to finish it, regardless of how popular it isn't.

Favorite Pairings and things that make Yume go "squee!"

Sasame x Takako (Pretear): Corny though it may be, I got warm fuzzies at their "true love redeems all wrongs" story. Maybe not so much at the codependency that preceded it. But meh, they're pretty together.

Moonlight Bromance: I just love it when the Shitennou are revived and get to pal around with Mamoru.

Kunzite vs. Artemis: wingedleona and her "Grocery Day" fic are mostly responsible for my love of this fanon rivalry.

Guardian Senshi x Shitennou (Sailor Moon): Yes, I know it's not canon. The fairytale neatness of these knight/princess pairings is hard to resist, and I think their personalities mesh well together. Hypothetically.

Link x Zelda (Legend of Zelda): Yes, I know it's not realistic. In real life class differences would drive them apart, Zelda would be betrothed to some prince for political purposes and Link would avoid commitments and remain a wandering adventurer until his mid-30s when he'd suddenly realize he's not going to live forever, panic, and then settle down with a girl like Malon. I see enough real life in real life, so in fanfiction I like my waffy fantasies. And Zelda has kissed him twice in the games, which is two more times than any other girl.

Shinji x Rei (Evangelion): Yes, I know she's sort of his mom. This one is my guilty pleasure... I really, sincerely tried to like Shinji x Asuka but just can't.

Shadow/Dark Link x Malon (Legend of Zelda): Largely thanks to Shadow Bound by Pleading Eyes. I highly recommended it!

Ganondorf: Proving that you don't have to be good looking, filled with self-loathing, or even have a particularly good reason for being evil to be an awesome villain. I apologize for butchering him in Fragile Flower. :S

Jonouchi x Anzu (Yugioh): Never happened, but it felt like it should have. (In the manga, anyway.)

Usagi x Mamoru (Sailor Moon): Well... sorta. They are the pilot couple, after all. Half the story is about their eternal love for each other, to the point that having them break up feels almost OOC. But even though I love them as characters and as a couple, I don't usually read fanfiction about them. They already got plenty of development in the series, and I've seen one too many UsaMamo stories that read like bad knock-offs of teen Disney movies.

Hotaru x Perle/Peruru (Sailor Moon): This one is total crack, but I think they'd be adorable. I've only found three authors who have written them together. If anyone's written a story about them, please send it my way! I wonder what you would call this ship? Petaru? HotaPeru? Hotarle? Left-out Chibiusa Rival Shipping?

Fanfic pet peeves
(Listed purely for amusement. Not trying to hate on anyone who likes this stuff!)

Usagi is betrayed by her senshi and runs away to America: OOC characters displaced from their normal setting and often undermining the original theme of friendship and female solidarity... what series is this story about, again?

Anything that's LinkxOC, UsagixOC, or HayatexOC: I'm a pairing snob. Please forgive me. But seriously, Link has 4-5 canon girls who are interested in him already. Usagi belongs with Mamoru, period. I rarely see a good Pretear OC.

There's a new Pretear (or three): Until the authors themselves say otherwise, I firmly believe that there can only be one Pretear at a time.

Nonsensical crossovers: As far as I know, no one has ever written an NCIS/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover. Let's keep it that way.

Yume's current projects: Finishing Crystal Generation and its companion fic Crystal Hearts, Completely rewriting Fragile Flower so it doesn't suck, continuing the Gens Una Sumus series, a currently-untitled SM fic based on Twelfth Night
