Poll: Since I'm having a lot of trouble updating Angels Will Carry Me Home with such lengthy chapters, I was just curious to see how many readers would be okay with much shorter chapters at a higher frequency? Welcome to my humble profile. :) I'm not really good at talking about myself so instead, I'll talk about my purpose on fanfiction dot net. I don't write just to garner reviews (even though they are nice to read) and I don't write just to appeal to a particular fanbase. I write because I love doing it. I've been passionate about it for most of my life. I think the very first fanfiction I ever wrote was when I was roughly eleven. It was probably horrid and basic and bland but hey, someone out there liked it. I think.

I also do enjoy reading and there's a lot of amazing talent on this website I'm glad I stumbled on. I don't always review unless I have something specific to say. I do fave and follow a lot, though. Hopefully, it counts for something.

I am a terrible author when it comes to updating. I only wish I had all the time in the world to just sit down and write. But, I'm usually always on the move and being a full time student with a stressful job and a social life, it isn't rare that I end up doing a lot of work on my phone. Usually, on lengthy bus rides. No joke. A lot of my plot ideas come from listening to music on the bus while I'm going somewhere and so many ideas of mine have been stored away on that smart phone, I would lose my mind if I didn't have it. It's got to be nice having a beta but I'm my own worst critic so it doesn't make things any easier when it's got to be me making all the edits and corrections on anything I've written. So, I have to say, I admire the authors who frequently update and even more so, the authors who complete a story before even posting the first chapter.

Since I am my own worst critic, I can sometimes look back on things I've written and detest them. Which is why some stories on this old account are on a permanent hiatus. As much as I may dislike what I did, I still feel terrible if I were to delete them, especially since so many lovely people took the time to read and review them.

About what I write: to be honest, I usually stick to character exploration and development. I enjoy writing it most simply because it's always fun to put a new perspective on a character. I'm usually drawn to specific characters for this and that's probably why a lot of readers will notice there are truly only a handful I write about. However, that doesn't mean I don't like a challenge. In fact, I love them. I love writing outside my norm and trying something different with a character or relationship that I haven't explored before. I don't mind dabbling into action, drama, crime or the like. Some newer stories contain a little of that. I am a hopeless romantic though and I can't see a story without some developing relationship incorporated into it, however minor it may be. Relationships play a vital role in developing any character so naturally, I expect them and write them. :)

I am a nerd and, like any nerd, I enjoy a ton of different fandoms all across the board. Anywhere from video games to television to film to books to comics and even cartoon. So never be surprised if I alternate between varying fandoms. :)

One last thing: I may not reply all the time or comment, but I sincerely appreciate every single reader, reviewer and person who faves and follows. It means a lot and it's nice to know others enjoy what I enjoy doing. Although I don't write solely to garner a readership, I am grateful for it nonetheless and it certainly keeps me motivated to keep on writing. So thank you. :)
