Author has written 39 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VIII, Bleach, and Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Heya! talinsquall here. Message for Keeping Myself Unknown: Thanks for your thought provoking review. The problem you addressed was the main reason I did not update for awhile. It's also the reason "Reno's Reality" lies sadly dormant. To tell the truth, once the ongoing Kingdom Hearts stories are complete, I'm planning to devote most of my time to Bleach, so I suppose these recent stories are my last hurrah to Kitten Leon. I apologize for the recent glut of the same-old, same-old. As for writing characters in Canon, I have tried in the past. But since my OTP is Cloud/Leon, it's pretty hard when both men don't like to talk. I did it once, with "Rough Divide," and it damned near broke my brain. The wonderful author Stellar Eclipse has found the magic, which I hope one day to produce. Unfortunately, I'm a long way from meeting that goal, but I'm consciously working toward it. Please bear with me. I'm not sure about the new updates on this site. But if you send me a message, I believe I can see it, but no one else can. In my opinion, your review was in no way a flame. I'm taking the time to really focus on what new story ideas I really want to do and also better plan out my prequels, side-stories, and updates, especially "A Puppy and His Baby Angel." Heh. You thought I forgot my jewel of The Zack. Hah! I forget nothing! I must admit the news of Baby Zack in "Birth Before Sleep" perturbed me a trifle, but sage words from a fellow author set me aright and I've decided to let it be. The picture of him is so cute with slim waist and huge feet. I have sworn to never ever venture near Pre-Teen Land, but I swear Nomura holds the flag high. Between Crisis Core Baby Cloud, Dissidia Teenage Squall, and the de-aging of The Zack, my poor Sephiroth is being pushed down Pedophile Way with no hope of return. I'll find a way around it (grumble), but it's still trying. To One and All, Happy Holidays and a Merry Mpreg Everyone! (Please check out poll, if you haven't already. The future of this story rides on the poll's results. Bleach MPreg (How it occurs in my Fanfiction World...) I made this up after writing "Blow It Away," so the method differs a little. I'm writing this down here, so I won't have to go into detail, for every new story. Of course, this process applies to two males. If it's man/woman, the baby gets made the old-fashioned way. The process revolves around Reiryoku. If the father wishes the bearer to have a child, he collects his own spiritual energy in one hand, and directs it to the lower belly area. When the spiritual energy interacts with the father's released "fluids," nature takes its course. The baby's growth would then be sustained by the bearer's body and spiritual energy. With mates of equal, or near-equal spiritual standing, the wish for a child must be mutual. If the father's Reiryoku far exceeds the bearer's, like Kensei's over Yumichika (giggle), then the bearer will become pregnant, whether he wants to or not. Non-con? From me? Heaven forbid! When I first thought of this, I pictured the Reiryoku forming, like the Kamehameha, or Spirit Bomb, in Dragonball Z. Then I pictured nighttime, after the Winter War was over, in the Seiretei. XXX I posted this to kind of remind myself that, "Big things can come from small nuances." The origin of my Cloud/Leon series, "Strategy," actually came from, I believe, a slight glitch in KH2. If you've played the game, Leon asks Sora to meet him in the Bailey, when the group first gets to Hollow Bastion, and he walks out the door. When he does, there's a distinct hitch in the way he walks, like he has a limp. It doesn't show up when he fights or runs, but it is noticeable enough, when the AI is walking him around. Of course, me being the old slasher I am, my thoughts automatically turned to the Dark Side. What clinched it? On one of my most recent playthroughs, I noticed that Cloud usually was walking in the Marketplace, but when Stalker! Tifa was there, he was gone. Where did he go? On a whim, I jump-flew Sora to Ansem's study. Guess what I found? Cloud sauntering around in Ansem's study, right next to the open hallway, where Limping Leon is walking around near his ever-lovin' Computer Room. There ya have it! My story was born! Hee Hee. XXXXX 2/7/09: This is the official day my writing style is permanently changed. Before my mental siesta, I noticed that my writing had become increasingly stagnant and frustrating. "Writing by the seat of my pants" rapidly became "Writing out of my ass." To my consternation, I realized I was murmuring this phrase to myself more and more. Updates were becoming fewer and fewer. The material was all there, and ready to go, but I always got lost in the execution. My Bipolar Disorder was a small factor, but it wasn't the main problem for once. I took the time, during my break, to research on the internet and find out where I was going wrong. The ready answers left me swearing at myself and head-slapping my forehead many times. I believe, if you read my work before this date, and compare it with my work afterwards, you'll see the difference. I hope it's an improvement, writing-wise.
