Author has written 7 stories for Pokémon.

Basic info/introduction:

Name: Aurora

Internet Names: She Who Loves Pineapples (or shewholovespineapple) on most sites. I used to be The Milk Carton Ferret on this site, but that name was stupid so I changed it.

Gender: Female

Age: adolescence

Religion: Latter-Day Saint

Language: I love to study languages. I speak English, Esperanto, and Spanish. I only write in English because there aren't many Esperanto-speakers on this site, and my Spanish sucks. I'm studying Japanese, and currently know about enough understand most of the dialogue in Pokemon games... but if you ask me to have an actual vocal conversation with it, I'll get deer-in-the-headlights. 'XD

Hello everyone! :D Welcome to my page! Here you will find all my ramblings as well as my stories. I’m egotistical and love talking about myself, so this page is rather long. Feel free to skim.

I joined this site many years ago, when I was eleven. That was a different account. I really sucked at writing back then. I still kind of do.

I don't take fanfiction super seriously, but I'm always trying to improve my writing.

Anyway… if you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to PM me! I’m a pretty friendly person.

Thoughts Various Topics

Fandoms: I pretty much only write for Pokémon. It might not be the best series in the world, but it really inspires my imagination and I'm familiar with it, so it's the best fanfic material for me. My favorite regions are Johto and Unova, my favorite character is Crys, and my favorite Pokémon is Totodile... so, naturally, most of my stories involve them in some way. Oh, and I'm pretty much only into the games nowadays. I kinda gave up on the anime a while ago, and I still enjoy reading PokeSpe but I'm not as obsessive about it as I used to be, so I don't write fic for it anymore.

Sometimes I'll read fic for other series, depending on what catches my interest.

Shipping: I'm kind of a shipper, but it's not like that's all I care about. I like to read about relationships, but not necessarily romantic relationships. When it comes to writing romance, I kind of suck at it, so I keep most of my stories at an ambiguous-romanticish-friendship level at most.

Some of my favorite pairings are Ferriswheelshipping, Pokeshipping, Hoennshipping, specialjewelshipping, and colosseumshipping. I respect other pairings and anti-pairings, and don't have issues reading fic about pairs that class with mine.

Review policy: I make no promises, but I’ve been working on trying to give more constructive reviews. I won't give concrit if you say you don't want it; I respect that, but it means I'm less likely to review. If you specifically ask for reviews and then get mad when people give concrit, you are doing the fanfic equivalent of asking if that dress makes your butt look big, and I will assume you're an idiot. It's one of my biggest pet peeves when people ask for others' opinions and get mad when those people answer honestly.

I don’t give concrit until the end of all that’s written so far because I don’t assume that the author still makes the same mistakes as he or she did in the first chapter, so it would be a waste of my time and just come across as naggy.

Naturally, I love getting reviews on my own stories as well – whether they’re helpful or just, “lol nice.” I appreciate every review deeply. I prefer honesty and critique, and I promise that I will listen to every bit of advice I get. I try to return reviews, but only if you have stories in my fandoms, and probably only if they’re T or lower.

As far as flames/trolls go… if you flame me I’ll probably cuddle you. :3 Seriously, trolls are adorable. It’s so cute, but tragic, that they need attention so much but feel can only get it from making Internet people pissed off at them. D: Poor little sweeties.

Names: I hate name changing with all my heart, so I prefer to use the original names for humans and Pokémon. If you disagree, fine, and if you’re confused, I’m sorry... but I write primarily for myself, and I just hate the localized names so much that I’m going to keep doing it this way. Some reviewers of The Rainbow Wing requested a glossary at the beginning of the chapter, though, so I’ve been including those in all my fics that use the original names.

I also don’t have a problem with Japan-based fanfictions that use Japanese honorifics, as long as the honorifics are being used correctly and the author is using the Japanese names. But I don’t really use Japanese honorifics myself. The Rainbow Wing is the only fic of mine that has them.

Stories

The Rainbow Wing: This will probably be discontinued.

Night Conversations: I wrote this after realizing that every time I’m having a conversation with someone at night – either at a sleepover, or over Facebook – we end up pouring our hearts out to each other. And then when I wake up I feel so stupid for telling them such personal things. It’s an irritating and curious phenomenon. And it makes a good excuse for a fanfiction. Anyway, this is just poorly-written, somewhat OOC fluff. Why in the world is this my most popular story?

After the End: I don’t even remember where the idea for this came from. And, eh, this is definitely not my favorite thing I’ve ever written. I mean, people like it so far, but I feel like in the end it will be one of those things that had all this buildup for a really lame conclusion. ;.; But, I'll do my best with it.

Things You Never Heard: This is pretty much my favorite of my own stories. I love it so much, I might actually finish it someday. It's something like an "autobiography" of Silver. Gameverse.

Poor Kris!: Just a silly, kinda-poorly-written spoof that highlights some of the differences between Crystal Version and the new remakes, particularly the fact that Crys was not included. Not gonna lie, I'm still kind of upset about that, and especially the fact that no one ever puts Crys in fanworks anymore.

Masks: I called this mediocre fluff at first, but then someone reviewed it who really liked it, and I feel bad when I insult my own fics that other people like. So, I guess it's... good not-fluff? Anyway, it's something of a character study of Green (female), from Silver's point of view, interspersed with some of my headcanon.

How to Be Human: Eehhh I just started this fic and there are already a bunch of things I wish I did differently, especially when it comes to characterization. I should've thought it through a bit more before I jumped in. I guess it's not horrible, but it will probably be discontinued. Sorry.
