"Incredible. One of the worst performances of my career, and they never doubted it for a second." --Ferris Bueller

Hey, everybody. A little info about me.

I'm sixteen, I'm a big fan of sarcasm, and I LOVE purple, the arts, and all things movies/Matthew Broderick/John Cusack/Kevin Kline. (By the way, for those of you who didn't get the pen name, it's the name of the record store in Cusack's High Fidelity. If you caught it without help, I love you.)

I consider myself a pretty good writer--my teachers since third grade practically swore I was a prodigy--and my style's a mix of...a lot of things. I make sure all of my fanfics are totally realistic to their original story. Nothing is out of character. If there's anything I HATE, it's dialogue like, "How are you, today?" "I am fine." "That is a good thing. Would you like a bagel?" Hello, universe. No one talks like that. When you write fanfiction, it can't be stiff and wooden. You have to adapt to the character.

My Rob Gordon "All-Time Desert-Island Top-Five" (Fidelity reference again) favorite movies would have to be Glory, Titanic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Anastasia, and the Producers, most of which I would never do a fic on because I am SO NOT WORTHY! But I do a lot for animated classics--not SOCIETY's cliched "classics" like Cinderella. I'm so not into weak heroines. (NOTE: This does not apply at Avalon, the site where I roleplay as Audrey Ramirez from Atlantis, Preed from Titan A.E, and Westley from The Princess Bride. EVERYBODY's awesome at Ava. XD ) I mean TRUE classics like Anastasia, the Lion King, Titan A. E. and the Road to El Dorado, so you'll probably be seeing a lot of that. Strong possibility of seeing some Gilmore Girls and Friends, too--both of which I'm over-the-moon obsessed with--and any other of my 47 billion movies I feel like putting my spin on. OTHER NOTE: MY ANASTASIA STORIES HAVE NOW BEEN MOVED TO THE NEW AND IMPROVED ANASTASIA SECTION. THANK YOU FF FOR PUTTING IT UNDER 'MOVIES' WHERE IT BELONGS!!

I have an account on Deviantart.com under ChampionshipVinyl also, which will feature the OFFICIAL sketches of my self-created characters as well as some other art of my own. This account is my first priority, though. If you've read my stuff, please check out my page; I believe that it's really important to be able to picture the character. http://championshipvinyl.deviantart.com/

There are a lot of things I hate, and I could probably fill a page or two with them, but I'll narrow it down to ditziness, conformity, Hannah Montana/Jonas Dweebs/insert tween trend here, reality TV (except for Dancing With The Stars--go Derek Hough!), celery, bad drivers, rude people, spiders, country music, politics, and sitting in the front row at anything.

I find in my interests that I have something of a "thing" for scoundrels, if you will. My favorite kinds of characters are guys with that cocky charisma; the kind who're usually up to no good even though you love 'em anyway. I'm talking the bona-fide scoundrels, like Han Solo, Dimitri, Ferris Bueller, Indy--including some of the less confident ones like Chandler Bing, Obi-Wan (prequels), Luke Danes, etc. Those are my guys. But that does not mean that I "like" any of them. Or anyone. (What's the point in "liking" a fictional character anyway?) No way. I'm not the "crushy" type by any means. To me, they're more like old familiar friends that I've never technically met. I'm just saying that those guys are where I usually find my best material, which is why you'll see a lot of stories central to them, their pasts, etc.

I am going to say something right now that will seem extremely random, but I don't care, because so am I. This just needs to be said. I want John Cusack and Jeremy Piven back together. Now. Enough bickering, boys, please? Comedy needs you. And if anyone reading this agrees with me, raise your hand, mention it on your profile, drag John and Jeremy into the same room by their ears, I don't care!! Don't take sides, just let the war end.

Here's a little-known fact about me: I am what I like to call a "content chicken." Basically, when you're like me, you spend most of your time on fictional characters. They become like good, familiar friends who don't usually answer you when you talk. Therefore, you would NOT want to read anything that kills them, dumbs them down, or causes you to picture them in...how shall I put this...objectionable situations. (There are just certain situations you DON'T want to think of a friend in.) I have litterally exited out of windows in a mild panic just to remove certain images from my mind. So what does my little problem have to do with you, the potential readers? It means that all my stuff will be clean. Not G-rated, Barney & Friends, censormania clean--it WILL be realistic, witty, and generally for the older readers--but clean. Content Chickens, rejoice. You now have a mature, non-preschool haven of fiction.

Also, this is completely random (as am I), but I feel like I should mention my obsession with The Shins. Seriously. I'm probably listening to them right now. They're pop/rock/alternative, and James Mercer is a genius. If you're reading this and you like my writing, then trust me. Take this reccomendation. The Shins rock. (There, Shins, you owe me for the free advertising.)

You should probably also know that I'm a complete Monty Python-worthy spaz. And that I have a little problem typing too much on reviews. (Could you tell?) Don't worry; the trait expires past comments, and the writing will be worth enduring my ever-offbeat self.

Love wins. May the Force be with you. Insert third greeting here. I'll be writing.
