Hi, I am pleased that you have dared to take a peek at my profile. I am a high school girl who dreams about being kidnapped down a well by a monster in the sengoku era, or going into a time loop to the bakumatsu, or meeting a Sohma or Honda, or meeeting a soul reaper, or ect, ect. (Haven't you noticed that most anime/manga revolves around 15 year olds?) However, non of which have ever happened to me, sadly. As you may have guessed I am a girl with no life by the geek world. Don't call me a nerd, it sounds mean, but geek, sounds dorky and I like dorky :D

Spiteful words can hurt your feelings, but silence breaks your heart.

We were given two hands to hold, two legs to walk, two eyes to see and two ears to hear, why then, were we given only one heart?

Because the other one was given to someone else for us to find.

Whoever said nothing was impossible obviously ever tried slamming a revolving door.

Whoever criticizes our generation obviously has forgotten who raised it.

Friends are just angels without wings.

The alphabet starts with (ABC)

Numbers start with (123)

Music starts with (DO RE MI)

Love starts with (YOU AND ME)

When two hearts race, both win.

There is nothing you can really DO to deserve love. Love is a gift that can only be given. - Anonymous\

The Meanings of Japanese Honorifics

-san: this is equivalent for Ms./Mrs./Mr./Miss it's the most common honorific and it can be used for whenever politeness is required.

-sama: this is one level higher than "-san" and it's used to confer great respect.

-dono: this comes from the word "tono" which means "lord." this is an even higher level than "-sama" and confers utmost respect.

-kun: this is used at the end of boys' names to express familiarity or endearment. it's also sometimes used by men amongst friends or when addressing someone younger or of a lower station.

-chan: this is used to express endearment, mostly towards girls. it's also used for little boys, pets, and even among lovers. it gives a sense of childish cuteness.

-bozu: this is an informal way to refer to a boy, similar to "kid" or "squirt."

-sempai/-senpai: this signifies that the addressee is one's senior in a group or organization. it's most often used in a school setting, though it's also used in the workplace.

-kohai: the opposite of "-sempai" used by upperclassmen towards lower classmen.

-sensei: literally meaning "one who has come before" and it's used for teachers, doctors, or masters in any profession or art.

blank: this is usually forgotten among lists, but it's perhaps the most significant difference between Japanese and English. the lack of an honorific means that the speaker has permission to address the person in a very intimate way. Usually, only family, spouses, or very close friends have this kind of permission. known as "yobisute", it can be very gratifying when someone who has earned the intimacy starts to call one's name without an honorific. but when it hasn't been earned, it can be very insulting.
