I am a RN and I am a compulsive reader.

As my favs suggest, I do have an ecletic taste, lol. I do not frequent this board as much, and tend to go to others, because I have my ships and don't like to stray from them a lot. I am usually a hardcore CC fan, with stray UCs here and there. I always come back to this board, though, because sometimes you just don't know where to look for a particular fic.

Fandoms and Ships:

Max/Liz - Roswell: This was my very first fandom. I was in Junior High School at the time, and I was a hardcore Dreamer. It will always be my OTP.

Rory/Jess - Gilmore Girls: I always had a soft spot for Jess. He was the bad boy only by default. Even though I never finished the series, I went back to watch the final Literati scenes just so I could see them again. It is my fannon that they got together after the series ended. Nobody will change my mind about that. :)

Charmed: I stopped watching this show in the middle of the fifth season. I always enjoyed it, but sort of felt that it had gone downhill. it was only by chance that I caught episode 6x17 on one of the reruns TNT constantly plays. Then I fell in love with Chris. I loved the tragedy in his character. On the couple side of things, I would go for Piper/Leo, Paige/Kyle, and Pheobe/Cole. But even then they are mostly not a hard and fast rule (got Leo bashing fics? Don't mind 'em at all!). Chris revelation fics, though? Can't get enough.

Once Upon a Time: I have never been a fantasy fan. This, however, has never applied to Fairy Tales. I love Disney movies and I love my big book of Grimm's. So this show? Right up my alley. I will ship everything from Emma/Graham, Snow White/Charming, Emma/Jefferson, Aurora/Hook, Emma/Hook. This is not my favorite fandom, but it is definitely one for some fun.

Disney: Any het CC couple, I will eat it up. I love my Disney animation. My favorite from childhood is Sleeping Beauty, but I will love everything down to the latest.

Obi-Wan/Padmé - Star Wars: This was a surprising one, even for me. That whole fantasy thing I mentioned? Still applies. I was never a huge Star Wars fan. My uncle was, and as such showed me and my cousins the original trilogy when I was ten or eleven. I have never seen a whole film since. The prequel trilogy? Even less. I have seen Attack of the Clones once, in pieces. I was intrigued by the romance, but not much else. And then one day I was wandering around LJ's het reccs. I saw a Padmé fic that couldn't really be called Obidala, though they were together. It was a lovely piece that reminded me that there were characters I liked in the films. So, I searched here under her character. This is when I truly found Obidala and became absolutely obsessed with it. Like, compulsively. I love the couple.

Heroes: This is the show that got me back into fics. I had drifted away from them for awhile, but ran right back in the interim between season 2 and 3. I loved the absurd rightness of Paire fics, love the psychotic sexiness of Mohelle, the prettiness of Mohinder/Eden, the pureness of Hiro/Charlie, the coolness of Adam. It's a fun fandom. Don't talk to me about Sylar, though. While I loved him as a villian, I loathe him as a redeemable character.

Avengers/Iron Man/Thor: Can I express how much I loved The Avengers? I love Robert Downey, Jr. and Iron Man was the perfect vehicle for him. So, naturally, I love Tony/Pepper fics. I am also loving the Darcy pairings, especially Darcy/Loki. And as much as I hated redeemable Sylar, I love redeemable Loki. He was an amazingly enjoyable character.

House, MD: I love the show (until it got weird). I will occassionally read Cameron/Chase and House/Cuddy. That is all.

Indiana Jones: Ah, now this is a tricky one. We all love the films (just an FYI: only 3 exist. Only. And maybe only 2, given the day). But you will rarely see me playing in this fandom's sandbox. That's because of my unpopular favorite couple. That's right: Marion/Sallah. No, no, just kidding! Actually, I really, really love Indy/Elsa. But it seems as though those that share that view are being shunned, since I have found one singular fic with the couple. One. It's fantastic, don't get me wrong! But it's a one-shot. It saddens me.

Shawn/Juliet - Psych and Michael/Fiona - Burn Notice: Good god, I love these shows. Very few writers get the tone right, but when they do it's great. I love Shules. I love Mike and Fi. I LOVE the crossover one-shot I found that has Shules and Michael only (but has Sam, so it's solid).
