I have always loved reading and recently discovered that I like to write as well. In the past, writing was an academic exercise and not very enjoyable. I am currently working full time, and getting a doctoral degree. What can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment.

I am attracted to anti-heroes. I loved Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff before I knew what an anti-heroe was. So far, I write Snape and OC. I'm a card carrying Snape fan. Everything is AU because I hate the way he was treated in the books. I also have a novel of original characters I'm trying to shoe horn into my life. Right now, these little vignettes give me great pleasure.
