Author has written 5 stories for Silmarillion. I like alliteration. This is not a sin. I also like subtlety. One day I hope to achieve it. All of my stories are connected to some extent; it certainly shouldn't be necessary to read everything, but occasionally it might help. Some of my stories are also posted under the same penname at the Silmarillion Writers' Guild, LOTRFF and Stories of Arda, as well as being listed at WendWriter's Archives of Excellence, and all of my stories can be found on LJ as clodia_metelli. I'm a friendly person, feel free to drop by! Feedback is love. But in any case, if you've glanced at my stories, thank you for reading! A note concerning 'A Beleriand Treasury of Childish Tales': This is a collection of fairly unserious pastiches, currently involving Rudyard Kipling (on the fall of Gondolin), Lord Dunsany (on Turgon's abandonment of Nevrast), J.R.R. Tolkien himself (on dwarvish singing), H.P. Lovecraft (on the awakening of Durin's Bane), Terry Pratchett (on trolls, tea parties and a touch of literary theory), C.S. Lewis (on Fëanor's rebellion) and Gogol (on Maglor, his ghosts and the beach). Some lines will have been taken directly from the originals; so to save time, I claim responsibility only for the arrangement of these pieces and certainly I own nothing except perhaps for the the odd OC. And (of course): go read the originals! Term has begun and I am busy; please excuse my infrequent presence! | |||||||||
