Author has written 16 stories for Harry Potter, and Alexander. I am a 30-something writer and designer who found FanFiction.Net in mid-2008 (yes, I am a late bloomer) and have been hooked (is addicted an acceptable word?) ever since. I'm still wading through all the gems under the Harry Potter section and probably will be for, I dunno, ever. I feel like I've fallen into an idyllic sort of haven -- unleash your imagination is right -- which serves to keep the adored characters of J.K. Rowling's world alive and well. And thank goodness for that. I simply adore Severus Snape. He is brilliant. Love-love-love him. He's the ultimate juxtaposition: abrasive yet vulnerable, emotionally broken yet redeemable, dark yet light -- a complex, fiercely loyal, wicked smart and superbly talented wizard who is usually too proud and stubborn to get out of his own way. Did I mention sexy as hell? (Oh, and that bit about Alan Rickman portraying him in the film series? Yah, that isn't helping.)
