Even before it was released in the States. Yeah, I'm talking about loving it because of Marth and Roy in Smash Brothers Melee. - Favorite Characters: (1) Nephenee - She reminds me of Freya from Final Fantasy IX (who is, by the way, the coolest rat/person/dragon knight to ever exist). It's mostly the helmet and the lance-wielding. Also, her supports with Devdan from PoR were pure hilarity. (1) Volug - Poor guy: they make him a total Jeigan in Part 1, but with that God damned Wildheart skill, he's too under-leveled when you get some more laguz. Intelligent Systems could at least make all the wolf laguz completely kickass since there's only two of them in the whole game. Other than that, he's pretty snarky, and I'm just glad people in this series can be sarcastic. (3) Nailah - What's better then a white wolf that hardly gets hit and can take down and armored boss in two hits? Yeah, I'm having trouble coming up with something either. (4) Sothe - Sure, he's pretty much useless in the later levels of PoR and he's not too amazing in the Part 4 Endgame of RD and he has a severe case of Ike worship throughout the first part of RD, but he's still pretty awesome. (5) Tibarn - I swear he only had more kills than Nailah in my first RD playthrough because he can fly and she can't. He's still a killing machine, though. (6) Jill - What happened to her personality?! It disappeared in the three years between PoR and RD! That was a huge disappointment though; I beat RD, so I go back and start PoR again, and my sister and I are like "Woah! these characters have personalities!" I never would have guessed that she used to hate laguz from her cameos in RD. (7) Tanith - I looked at her character portrait and said one thing: "Wow, she's intense." (8) Vanessa - I decided to actually train a pegasus knight for once instead of letting them rot with the rest of my unused units, and she happened to be the first I got in SS. (9) Marcia - I love the way she talks. Real pity you get her for half the levels in Part 2, and then once you get her again she's totally under-leveled compared to Tanith and Sigrun. (10) Canas - I don't really know why I like him. Maybe it's because he's the only shaman you can get in RnK. (11) Janaff - "He looks like a sprite!" Don't ask. I did, however, add 11 just for him. Favorite Lords: (1) Roy - He's essentially the reason I started playing Fire Emblem. (Even if his stats in SoS totally suck.) (2) Marth - I got SD, and he totally kicks ass. 7 defense as a level 1 lord! (3) Lyn - I went back and played Lyn's story again and decided she was cool enough to be #3. (4) Ike, PoR - Ahh, back before he was practically a god to Tellius, made mistakes, and seemed human. (5) Micaiah - I played the game, increasingly becoming more annoyed with Micaiah's "For Daein" thing, but when I started my second playthrough, I remembered why I liked her so much as a character. Damn it, Pelleas, you made a good character into an annoying chick that you just wish you could punch while yelling, "Stop whining and kill the idiot already!" (6) Eliwood - It's been a while since I've played Rekka no Ken, but for some reason I really liked using him. Let's ignore the fact that everyone finds him rather pansy-ish. (7) Hector - My least favorite of the RnK lords, and it might only be because he used axes instead of swords... (8) Ephraim - He's the first unit to use lances and not ride a mount or wear heavy armor, if I recall correctly, and I thought that was pretty cool. (9) Eirika - Bumped lower than her twin simply because she comes off as weaker that her brother, and she spells her name weird. (10) Ike, RD - It really annoyed me that Ike seemed to be the only returning character in Radiant Dawn that had a real developed character. Also, you hardly hear about Ike in the first part, he gets slight mention in Part 2, and then BAM! He's the most important character in the whole f-ing game to the point that he has to land the final blow on Ashera, he's the only one that talks to Yune at the end (forget about Micaiah, you know, the one on the box?) and he gets some special screen at the end about how he saved the world twice. He's not even on the f-ing box, for God's sake! Front or back! What about the Dawn Brigade, huh, Intelligent Systems?! What about them?! Policy on reviews, favorites, and alerts: - Reviews: I'm not a very big reviewer, and I don't expect other readers to be any better. While reviews make me happy, like every other author around these parts, I won't go asking for any. I feel you should only review if you feel like the author deserves more of your time than what you gave from reading their work. I reply to every signed review, simply because I feel that if you're willing to take the effort to review my writing, the least I can do is show my appreciation. I find reviews extremely difficult to write, so you're input is important to me. - Favorites: I smile every time I get an email alert telling me that one of my stories has been favorite'd. I'm not the kind of person who gets upset if you "fave and run," so if you think my work is worth it, go ahead. Favorites say more than enough. I favorite stories that I want to be able to read again, without having to search through pages upon pages of writings; in fact, I randomly go through my favorites and read some of the stories there. To me, adding a story to your favorites is like saying that you'd read it again sometime. - Alerts: Story alerts are the easiest way to make my day. I can't help but smile when I see a chapter to a story I follow has been added. If I subscribe to a story, it's my way of saying, "I'm enjoying this so much, I don't want to miss the next chapter."
