Hey there. My name is Jennifer. Reading is by far my favorite hobby, and I am completely obsessed with writing. It's like crack. Really. I tend to let music influence what I write, and have an extensive collection I put on random. Everything from Amon Amarth to Tom Petty to Andrea Bocelli to Seether. I've also found a new (and completely unhealthy) obsession with KPop! UKISS, B.A.P, Batoost, FT Island, CNBLUE, 2ne1, Big Bang, MBLAQ, Infinite, SS501, Super Junior, Team H, and so many more... LOVE IT!

To those of you looking for the pictures from Dead Hearts, I apologize. Several people left rather disparaging remarks about some of my other photos, so it has been set to private for an indefinite amount of time. Thank you for being understanding. (P.S. I am well aware that the story has not been updated to reflect this. I'm not going to go through the hassle of editing and re-upping the chapters.)

I tend to prefer male characters that have emotional baggage. Some of my favorites are Zsadist (Black Dagger Brotherhood), Zane (Succubus Diaries), V (V For Vendetta), Skwisgaar (Metalocalypse), Sandor (GoT/ASoIaF), and Vanyel Ashkevron (Valdemar series). They are so beautifully damaged that it makes my heart bleed for them, and then I want to break down their walls and make it not hurt so badly. I take my male leads very, very seriously, if you can't tell.

Regarding my 'List 'o Ships' below: I actually got a PM from someone calling me a homophobe because I didn't ship gay Jon Snow, gay Wolf's Rain, or lesbian Sookie. I know this was only one person being ignorant, but it really irritated me. Hell, I *wrote* a slash story. Literally, I saw a character in another story that I thought was cool, sent a note to the author asking if she would mind having my character stick his D in her character's A, and wrote it.

Furthermore, I LOVELOVELOVE slash/yaoi/gheybuttsecks. I have just as much gay romance/erotica on my ereader as I do traditional hetero. I just don't care for it in those specific fandoms/pairings because it doesn't seem... them. Not a single cell in my body can see Jon Snow and Robb Stark hooking up. Same thing with Kiba and Tsume... nope, can't see it. In others, just the thought of girls taking part makes me cringe. Geez, in Metalocalypse, I completely refuse to read stories with girls in them. I just want them to all get together in one big drunk metal orgy.

And before I get another nasty PM, I don't have anything against lesbians. I like boys, but if you don't that's fine with me; I just prefer D's over V's. If that's your thing, more power to you, but it isn't mine. I still want you to be able to get married and have equal rights just like all us straight people do, but that doesn't mean I'm going to read novels about lesbianism. One of my closest friends is a lesbian and, trust me, I hear more than enough about her 'adventures' without having to resort to fiction.
