Information for 'Princely Plot Bunny':

PPB is AU, or -alternate universe- as far as genre. It is set in modern times, but the structure of the kingdom it is set in has feudal undertones. There is a king, a prince, lords, and common folk. Typically only those in the nobility receive privileges like a college education, where commoners would get the equivalent of high school plus training for a specific trade.

Technology is equivalent to what we have. They have cars, phones, electronics of many kinds... really I'd say the class structure is the only anachronistic (old) thing.

Akihiko is the Crown Prince, the future King. Usami-chichi of course is the current ruler. Haruhiko is not in line for the throne because of his illegitimate birth, but like with many acknowledged royal bastards over the years, he was given a noble title and lands. Hiroki's family is supposed to be very old nobility, breeding a line of men who often acted as Lord Protector over the years for young princes of the Kingdom. In recent years they are proud, but are no longer second in power as they used to be.

Shinobu and Nowaki's houses are high in esteem in this year, possessing much wealth and influence. Like in canon, Nowaki is an orphan, but he did inherit, and his parents likely wrote a guardian into their will to care for him until he came of age. Miyagi's family are lesser lords. Their strength is more in land than influence, money, or military strength, as they own masses of fertile farming land. Lastly, Misaki sadly is still a commoner, even in this story lol. He went to school and was trained as a chef. Takahiro remains in the business field, and it is through there that he was able to suggest Misaki as personal chef for Haruhiko, getting his brother that job.

As far as work for the lords, Hiroki is an advisor to Akihiko and councils him on his decisions, Shinobu's father is the equivalent of the Minister of Education, Nowaki of course is working with public health, Miyagi in education under the senior Takatsuki. Haruhiko is the Minister of Commerce and also handles some foreign relations tasks when asked by Akihiko or his father to do so. Akihiko's duties, as given to him by his father, are to deal directly with people within the kingdom. If foreign dignitaries come to visit, he must be the host. For the nobles, he deals with their personal petitions and grievances, approving marriages, child names, land transfers, etcetera.

As far as marriages go, if a person is single, and they are proposed to by someone of higher status, they are pretty much obligated to accept. If they don't want to marry that person, they must make a successful appeal to the Prince or King about their case, and he must dissolve the engagement. This is why Hiroki went to warn Miyagi about Shinobu - Shinobu has higher status, and barring the fact that neither Miyagi or Hiroki knew he wouldn't force the issue, he would have been within his rights to demand that Miyagi marry him. No one knew either, that if that happened, whether or not Akihiko would take Miyagi's side, so it was safer to try and avoid Shinobu, the men thought.

In order of status, high to low: Akihiko, Haruhiko, Shinobu, Nowaki, Hiroki, Miyagi, Misaki. (Just for reference sake)

In this story, M-preg is sort of old hat, and has been around for decades. It's just reaching the point of normality, and the public is well informed of things like side effects, gestational development, and how to avoid fertilization. I hope to squeeze in a more detailed explanation in-story, but in a nutshell... after intercourse, if the seed is allowed to sit inside inside the receptive partner for a time of at least half an hour, there is a chance of conception. Like with female pregnancy, it can happen, or not happen - depends on if the sperm meets with an "egg" or not. The common method for not conceiving when the penetrative partner does not wish to wear a condom or pull out is to immediately afterwards, wash the cum out of their partner so that it will not have a chance to take. Unsurprisingly, quite like how the pull out method can fail, so too can this one. So whether in real life or in this story, Condoms Are The Way To Go!

I think that should give some good background to the story. If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to PM me and ask about them!

My Name: Candace.

CURRENT STATUS -- I am reaching the end of this quarter at college, so while that's nice, work is also piling up, projects and the like. So I'm a busy bee. I write when I can. I am actively working on 'Princely Plot Bunny' in order to start posting it. Slowly trying to reconfigure chapter 4 of Networking to finish it - it's giving me hell. A side project I'm working on are a few PWP's, both in the Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi fandom. Once is a threesome with Takano, Onodera, and Kisa (a continuation to "Working Out The Kinks") and the other is an unrelated Trifecta (Kirishima & Yokozawa) story. Oh, and I have had a splitting headache the past two days. My energy levels are way down due to this.

Favorite Quote: "A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble." - Charles Spurgeon

HALCYON VERSE includes the stories:

- Tonight, Let The Right One In, Zion (upcoming), Helping Hands (upcoming), Natural Gift (upcoming), Just Go With It, and an Untitled Story (upcoming).

The H-verse is based on the Pokémon anime, and the stories are typically set a few years following the end of the Unova anime timeline. It's a big universe not limited to one character or pairing, and in fact they frequently intermix, particularly in "Zion" or "Helping Hands." The main focus is on the couples of: Dawn/Conway, Barry/Paul, May/Drew, and Ash/Gary competing with Ash/Cilan. Themes include growing up, finding a partner in life, and following personal ambitions as Trainers, Researchers, or Coordinators. Stories tend to be light in nature with the occasional conflict or angst - mostly from the Gary/Ash/Cilan triangle which is constantly a huge mess of emotions. The setting is spread out over the five regions fairly, but I will admit a slight Sinnoh bias.

Halcyon means "denoting a period of time that was idyllically happy." This is both true and ironic, depending what story you're looking at, and at what point.

EMOTIVE VERSE includes one story:

-"Your Turn", but I've planned at least two if not three one shots to go along with it, as of yet untitled. The main focus in this verse is Gold/Silver, and the crafting of it is mostly formed upon game canon [In major, HG/SS, in minor R/B/Y, but with subtle infusions of manga theme or background. Other characters that are important within the verse include Crystal, Eusine, Lance, Red, and Blue. Kanto and Johto are both settings within the stories, particularly West Johto and West Kanto. Story themes include becoming strong as a Trainer, dealing with personal grievances, making a human connection, fighting against grudges, strange attractions, and redemption.

Emotive means "arousing or able to arouse intense feeling" or "expressing a person's feelings rather than being neutrally or objectively descriptive." This is my goal in this particular verse.

Projects in the Works:

Junjou Romantica - (All couples) - Princely Plot Bunny - Wherein the couples face trials and tribulations under a class structure. Contains light M-preg, as a warning.

Junjou Romantica: - (Miyagi, Shinobu) - Networking - Miyagi just wanted to be a better man (but only after being prodded to it). Shinobu simply had a lot of problems, very few of them school related. Yaoi / Boys Love.

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi: - (Kisa, Onodera, Takano) - Untitled - A continuation of 'Working Out The Kinks' where Takano takes the boys home. PWP. Yaoi. Threesome.

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi: - (Yokozawa, Kirishima) - The Thing About Bears - Pure PWP, featuring seme!Takafumi, a love of mine.

Pokemon: - (Trip, Ash) - Red Stars - Trip reflects on his ruined idolatry for Alder, and then Ash comes along, and a new relationship blooms. Yaoi. Contains smut, but I'd say it is really more of a plot-centric story overall. Has references to Alder/Trip, Gary/Ash, Cilan/Ash, and of course in the present of the story is Ash/Trip.

Junjou Shippings in order of Preference:

Terrorist, then Egoist, then Romantica.

I love Tero because Shinobu has some major cajones (you go, kid) and Miyagi is incredibly stud-like (I so would tap that ass) and complex as a character. Their wacky relationship dynamic amuses me, too. Funniest antics ever. And hey, who doesn't love cabbage? Yum.

I love Egoist because I appreciate the balance of them, and that they are both ambitious people, which I respect. And who could resist either of their faces I certainly couldn't mmkay... It doesn't hurt that I like their career choices. When I was a little younger I had convinced myself I was going to be a doctor and a professor (though of history, not literature!), so I was tickled pink that they practice what I wanted to do.

I have a love/hate with Romantica. I absolutely find Misaki adorable and a fun character, and I do find Akihiko provoking in his own way (especially younger Akihiko), but their relationship together has its ups and its downs and it really just depends on the moment whether I enjoy it or not. I personally prefer them in the earlier acts/episodes to them in later ones.

Mistake... I UNF-ed all over this storyline. Just YES. I realize that not many people enjoy Isaka's meddling, but I liked him even as a minor character in the main Junjo Romantica run. I suppose it's because I like people of his personality to begin with, but also there was a taste that there might be a lot more to this man. So when I reached the Mistake chapters... I was ready... to fall in love increasingly. I enjoy his narrative voice very much, and the devotion Asahina has. Their childhood memories (the plant and all) make me content, and I have to say this begs to be a favorite pairing for me, it really does. Sensei, why do you make me adore all of your pairings so that I cannot possibly choose between them?

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Pairings:

Takano/Onodera: I give this a resounding thumbs up. Despite being 'pushy' Takano is a seme with a great deal of heart, and Onodera has a great deal of internal strength and charm that I admire. Their story makes the romantic in me very giddy, and I eagerly count down the days until 'Ritsu falls in love again.' Squee-d my little fujoshi head off at the one scene where Ritsu called him 'Senpai." *HEART CLUTCH*

Hatori/Chiaki: It should be important to note that I do not support the light novel version wherein in there is rape. Nope. Never will, either. I simply treat it as if it's not even there. Because I find all of that very a) disturbing and b) out of character. Within the context of the manga and the anime, I am fond of this couple. They have a sweet feel, and the fan-dubbed name for them 'Domestica' really rings home too. They're quieter than some other pairs but they can't help but love one another.

Yuu/Chiaki (anime): As much as I do like the above pairing, I also like Yuu with Chiaki, too. Not sure who I'd pick if push came to shove, because the two are nice for Chiaki in different ways, just as he interacts with them in two different ways. Yuu is an upstanding man, and though Sensei has written that he will not find love, I do wish he could, because he would be a fine, loving partner for any lucky man out there who he ended up with.

Yukina/Kisa: Uwahhh, I love these two! I think they're my favorite SIH duo (though it's really close in this fandom since Sensei worked very hard giving us awesome couples). I just sort of spontaneously AWW whenever they have a tender moment. Or in the beginning when Kisa said that this was his first love. *trying not to AWW again* Aside from the tenderness though, the delicious element of sensuality runs through their storyline. Experienced, unabashed, realistic, this couple's physical side is a delight to read. While in other story lines I can admit one partner being 'fresh' is fun, for them I love that they've both been around the block at least a time or two (or a hundred for one of them :P). It reads very true to life to me, and it's one aspect I think really makes the arc whole.

Kirishima/Yokozawa: Like Mistake in the JR world, I UNF-ed on this pairing too. I was happy at the way Kirishima slowly built Yokozawa up again, and the sweet family of three (plus cat!) dynamic that comes with this. Realism and responsibilities for the win. I think domestic things cause my heart to swell in joy. The first time that they made love was fun, no one was forcing anything, and it just seemed like all was right with the world. I enjoy the probability of it being a 'switch' couple, and I wanna see some Seme!Takafumi, so work hard, Sensei! ;)

Top 10 Shippings:

Barry/Paul, Gold/Silver, Dawn/Conway, Crystal/Eusine, Ash/Gary, May/Drew, Cheren/Bianca, Morty/Eusine, Volkner/Flint, & Ruby/Sapphire.

Since there were no yuri pairs in my top ten I'll do a five especially for it - Dawn/Cynthia (game), Bianca/White (game), Maylene/Candice, Juniper/Fennel, and Sabrina/Karen.

My latest crack-ship is Whitney and Juggler Irwin (remember this guy calling you all the time in the Johto games? He's your biggest fan. And he saw everything...) I know - I don't understand where I come up with these things, either.

I am wondering if there is a name for the Barry/Trip ship yet... I suggest PhotoBlitzShipping for the name if not. Photo obviously because of Trip's (fetish) hobby for photography and Blitz because Barry is a runner, haha.

Many honorable mentions, though. I ship everyone, or at least that is what I realized when one day I actually counted up the ships I am into. Oh dear... so yes, I am a lover, not a fighter. I don't like ship bashing. It's immature, and a waste of time. To each their own.
