Author has written 22 stories for Final Fantasy VIII, and Taken. 22/2/09 Hey guys, I only just realised now yesterday was my seventh fanfiction birthday whoo! I can't quite believe I've been a member here for so many years, its really strange as it doesn't seem to have been that long. I set this thing up just purely for a laugh when I was thirteen, I didn't really know the first thing about writing and somehow I've just kept at it so hopefully now I'm not as terrible a writer as I used to be. I hope! Eep! Seven years... I'm turning 21 in a few months, how scary that I still love writing final fantasy fanfics as much as I did back when I was a child. Hmm... yeah getting all nostalgic now. Anywho, the real reason I'm writing on here is just to say I've had seriously bad writers block the last few months. Everytime I write something I just feel like my writing has gone downhill. I don't know if that is really the case but that's how I feel. I posted a one shot the other day, only 3000 words long and it took me over a month to write because all I seem to do is open up my laptop and sit and stare at the document, maybe write a paragraph if I am lucky, but all I seem to do is read and stare at it. Eugh, I hate it! I decided for a while at least I'm going to try my hand at writing short stories, as I love writing them. My latest story 'A Battle of Land and Sea' I feel like I have completely hit a brick wall, so I'm having a break from it for a while. Personally, I'd like to take the thing down and completely change the storyline but oh well. I might get back to it one day, no promises though. I HATE giving up on stories, but seriously, this one is not working for me! Hopefully though I will start writing with a little less blockage soon, and I will have a collection of stories up once I get my ideas all figured out - and I have lots of them, which is good! I am a 20 year old girl from the boring land of England, who still can't let go of my favourite childhood game. I love to write and be a geek. I love Final Fantasy, Kingdom Kingdom Hearts and Katamari. Although I don't always get as much time to be a geek as much as I used to. Damn life and working to pay my bills thing gets in the way of having as much time as I used to. I still can't believe that in February I would have been a member here for seven years.. that's just scary. In the past I used to have a bad habit of never completing a story, but I've been good the last few years and tried to finish my stories and not give up on them. It takes me time to write... okay so I may go a rather long time without writing sometimes, but I do try! And I do always fall back to writing, people just need to be patient with me. I also have a brand new editor, who is proving very useful and I feel they deserve a special mention.
