Author has written 19 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Future Diary/未来日記, Magic Kaito/まじっく快斗, and Detective Conan/Case Closed. Well, hello there! I suppose I should write something about myself here? Lessee... You can call me Olive. "The Olive" is my title, but it's a bit too formal to use in casual conversation. I also have an account at AO3! For a while I kind of ragequit FFN and moved my operation to there, but I guess I'll repost the things I wrote here so that more people can read them? Oh, and I am also on tumblr. My primary fandoms right now are Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, and Homestuck. I mostly write for the first two. I love reading fanfiction. As I've grown up and have become more discerning, I've found it more difficult to enjoy everything, but I am still constantly amazed and inspired by the productivity and talent of fans. I see fanfiction as a way for a community to own a story and tell each other new ones. My views on pairings in general? In a nutshell, "Why not?" If it's a really cracky pairing, or if the characters have never met each other, I probably won't be all that interested, and terrible canon treatment of a ship can turn me off to it entirely, but if you can get two characters to banter or flirt with each other convincingly, I'm sold. At the same time, what interests me in most cases is the underlying relationship, not the romantic aspect of it, so I'm just as happy with the characters in question having a completely non-romantic friendship/rivalry/whatever. I apologize, but I'm usually too busy to respond to reviews. Please know that I love feedback and will eventually get around to reading them.
