Well, hello there! I suppose I should write something about myself here? Lessee...

First of all, I'm a horrible procrastinator. And for some reason, I keep being inspired to write around eleven or twelve at night - and on occasion, even later. This does wonders for my sleeping schedule, as I'm sure you can guess.

You can call me Olive. "The Olive" is my title, but it's a bit too formal to use in casual conversation.

My avatar icon is a very-much scaled down version of the Fullmetal Alchemist/Detective Conan Badge/Coat of Arms/Thing that I drew. Karu (Eialyne, here) came up with the idea. (We've declared ourselves to be FMA/Conan buddies.) It's basically the symbol from FMA (I think it's called Flamel's cross?) with a magnifying glass and Kaitou Kid's charm hanging off it. Since you probably can't read it very well, in the center it says "FMA", "DC", and has the kanji for both series.

I'm not going to list my favorite books, because nothing stands out in particular at the moment, which means that I'd have to put them all down, and that would take way too long.

My favorite mangas are Full Metal Alchemist, Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) and its spin-offs. I also liked +Anima quite a bit.

Favorite animes would be Detective Conan, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Kyo Kara Mao

I'm a Kaitou Kid fangirl, through and through. Yet whenever I write, I feel the need to torture him. I can't quite explain it.

I loooove reading fanfiction. I adore it. Sometimes I reread my favorite stories. And I love coming across a really long piece of fanfiction. (Ysabet's Wind Series kept me in reading material for days, it was lovely.) It's even better if it's a completed story. Abandoned stories break my little heart, but excellent writing makes my day, it really does. Once I spent a day in a kind of ecstatic-heartbroken stupor because I had found a story with such great writing, and the intro was beautiful and ironic, but it only had the first two chapters and the author hadn't posted or updated anything in at least a couple years or something.

If I ever end up posting any KiMiles (KimbleexMiles, from FMA) stories, it's all Inundation's fault, and entirely because I'm attempting to bribe her into reading Detective Conan. (Actually, now that I think of it, anything with Kimblee in it is probably her fault. xD)

My views on pairings in general? In a nutshell, "Why not?" If it's a really cracky pairing, or if the characters have never met each other, I probably won't be all that interested, but if you can get two characters to banter and flirt with each other convincingly, I'm sold.

So far, I've only put up pretty short one-shots here, but I'm working on some longer stuff. I get some crazy ideas sometimes. For instance, a Detective Conan/Mirai Nikki crossover, and a multi-chapter slightly KaitoAoko story, but I'm not sure whether I'll ever get those finished, yet alone post them. >_>

I think it's very sad that there's so little Mirai Nikki(Future Diary) fanfiction on this website. So I hope to be writing some more Mirai Nikki stories. It's a poor, neglected fandom, people!

Out of my posted fanfiction, I have to say that my best so far is The Clock Tower. I was very happy with how it turned out, so I encourage fellow DC/MK fans to read it. I hope you all have as much fun reading my fanfiction as I had writing it!
