Author has written 7 stories for Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries. I work doing mostly freelance writing for several magazine publications and have worked in the newspaper industry as well. Needless to say, if and when I do write on this site, it is purely for my own enjoyment, and to write something different than what I spend all day writing. I have done some fiction writing before, but mostly I write non-fiction articles professionally, so this site is a way for me to explore and develop my talents within the fictional realm. If you ever have any suggestions, feel free to let me know, but like I said I do this for fun, not for profit, so I don’t take this writing as life and death, it’s just a great way to blow off some creative steam. I still have a few ideas rolling around in my head for stories, and hopefully I’ll get around to them one of these days when my deadlines for my paid writing are a little more lax. I am trying to find time for working on my ongoing stories, but I've been having trouble finding time due to family illness. My father has multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer) and I'm trying to help my mother take care of him. And him being who he is, he's trying to make it our fault somehow and make our lives a living hell. Not sure how that works out in his mind, but I can't and won't leave my mother to take care of him alone. That said, between work and him, my muses have not survived well, and I'm struggling to find any down time to write anyway. And it's been forever since I read anything SVM, and True Blood is kinda killing the book series IMO, so it's hard to get back into the series. Sorry to those who have followed my stories, and I will try to get back into them. I just can't give any timelines. | |||||||
