Author has written 10 stories for Outsiders, Chronicles of Narnia, Final Fantasy VII, Lord of the Rings, and Misc. Books. So...I've been reading fanfiction for close to five years now, and writing for ten years and I decided, what the heck? Let's join fanfiction! It only took five years...quick as ever! :) I write mostly non-fanfiction stuff, so I will probably rarely write much here. Important Notice for the readers of Reminisces of a Golden Era I don't know how many of you will actually see this, but I thought it'd be worth a shot. I do apologize for the delay in updating this story, I have not given up on it or had writer's block or anything like that, I just honestly haven't had time to write lately due to a family emergency and a sudden move to another city. I will try to get the next chapter up soon, but I can't guarantee when. Thank you for your patience! :) I don't prefer anyone to know personal stuff about me-just suffice it to say I'm female and a Christian. I have a few guidelines about my stories: 1. I will NOT have any slash. 2. I will not write anything M rated. 3. I will not have drugs or alcohol in my stories-I don't like or support the use of either of them. (I do make a very brief mention of alcohol in my Outsiders stories, but I write about it even less than S.E. Hinton does.) 4. I will not write incest. 5. I will not have sex in my stories. 6. I will probably not have romance in my stories-I'm not much of a romantic person. But it may occasionally pop up and if it does, it will accord with my previous rules. 7. I will not write Mary Sues. Like I said, I am not a romance fan and I am definately not a fan of self-insert and/or perfect girl syndrome fanfiction. 8. I will not use foul language. It is unnecessary-even in everyday life. Hmmmm...I think that's all. So here's the stuff I like to read/write about and various info that might appear in my stories: 1. Narnia-I will not write any Susan/Caspian. That is not how the books are written-and I am a die-hard Narnia books fan-and Caspian marries Ramandu's daughter. I also will probably rarely write about Lucy or Susan, I love both girls dearly, but Peter and Edmund captivate my attention. On that note, Peter and Edmund will never have a romantic interest in my stories. I like to stick to canon and it is my belief that they both die before they get married. (See The Last Battle) Also, if you're looking for a great Narnia author, go check out Elecktrum's stuff. It's awesome! 2. Final Fantasy VII. If there is a romance I like, it would be Zack Fair and Aerith Gainsborough. Don't know if I'll write about it though. I also like Vincent and Cid FRIENDSHIP (not slash), something about the loudmouth guy drawing out the tragic goth just gets me. :) 3. Lord of the Rings. Once again, I like to stick to canon. I have to warn you, I am not an Arwen fan. She strikes me as a weak character, but I will not break away from canon, and if I write about Aragorn, he will still be in love with Arwen. I will not break them up. : ) Legolas will not fall in love with anyone-he never marries in the books. Elladan and Elrohir rock my socks even though they are barely mentioned in the books, and Faramir, Merry, and Eowyn probably rank as my favorite characters. I will try to keep them as close to canon as possible if I write about them. 4. The Outsiders-honestly, I have no idea why I like this book so much, I cry every time I read it. I love Ponyboy and Sodapop, but I also have a soft spot for Steve. Poor guy never gets a break. I will not write sister fics or Mary Sues in this category, that drives me crazy. I have discovered a reason for why everyone hates Steve. It's that movie! Dude, the movie butchered him. (I can't stand Tom Cruise bleh) I didn't like the movie, the actors didn't match up with how I pictured them. Well, Ponyboy and Steve sure didn't. Pony's supposed to have auburn hair. I picture him like he is on the cover of The Outsiders-you know, the one with the bluish cover? He is so cute in that picture. :) The rest of the actors were okay, Dallas nearly perfect-he just needed blonde hair. And what's with the peppy music whenever something dramatic happens? That totally spoiled the mood for me. Anywho, sorry for ranting, I just always wondered why people hated Steve. I wouldn't like him either if he acted the way he did in the movie. 5. Teen Titans- I love Robin! Especially stories about his struggle against Slade (see Rena Redhead's stories, they're AWESOME!). Slade is one of the coolest villains ever. Once again, probably no romance, and if there is, it will be Robin/Starfire because that is what is hinted at in the tv series. 6. National Treasure. I just love Riley stories-ones that do not include romance. He's so funny. I also have a deviantart account, if you're interested: http://lastchancetobreathe.deviantart.com/ Some fun quotes: "You're going to have 19 children."-My sibling. "I'm not getting married."-Me "Ok, you're going to have 32 kids."-My sibling. "Shoot me if I ever decide to have 32 kids!"-Me "What was your paper's topic on?"-My Friend. "I did 'Man is by nature a religious being'...I couldn't think of anything else."-Me. "So you came up with that?!"-My Friend. "Men don't bake cookies...we grill them."-My friend. "Do avoid flowery prose and sophomoric writing. In the long course of human history many students have striven to lift their writing and make it soar to lofty heights. If you do too, I will shoot it down!"-My teacher. "John Piper's calender is booked until his death."-My friend. "He's going to DIE?!"-My other friend. Peter and Susan burst into Miraz's baby's chamber and stop in front of the crib. "Where did that come from?!"-Peter about the baby. "Mom never had that talk with you?"-Susan. (From a deleted scene in Prince Caspian, go check it out, it's HILARIOUS!) Susan and Caspian kiss. "EWWWW!"- a little boy in the audience. My sentiments exactly. :) "I like to be around Christians...people who don't look at me weird when I say 'season of life'."-a pastor of mine. "In times of extreme stress, one can often find energy hidden in even the most exhausted areas of the body. I discovered this myself when I was woken up in the middle of the night and chased sixteen miles by an angry mob armed with torches, swords, and vicious dogs."- The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket. "Sunny, of course, had not been born four years ago, and she sat and tried to remember what that was like. Very dark, she thought, with nothing to bite."-The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket. "Are there any requirements as to who can or cannot critique our speeches?"-a girl in my class. "Yes there is one requirement...they have to have a pulse."-my teacher. Thanks for stopping by! | |||||
