Friends! An update!
It's been a good long while since I've written, but I'm working on making myself work harder, so allow me to reintroduce myself...again.
The name's KayceeRonin, but I totally don't mind being called Kay. I dabble in a lot of fandoms of different varieties, but my favorites right now are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2k3, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Numb3rs. I'm 25 years old, and a permanent resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm also a permanent student, or so you could say. I'm in my eighth year of college after screwing around with undecided and switching majors, but I'm proud to announce that I am FINALLY a senior! Yes, friends, I will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in History with a minor in Asian Studies in June of 2008! But what I'm doing after that, I don't know.
Right now I work in retail. I'm a store manager at Kings Island amusement park just north of Cincinnati. I LOVE my job despite the fact that it has nothing to do with what I'm studying in school. It's very fun to tell people I work in an amusement park.
I like to write all sorts of things, but my favorite thing would have to be family relationships, and not of the slash variety. I'm the oldest of four kids, so I like to read and write about close sibling relationships (thus the fandoms listed above). I also like to write and read historical fiction. And I'm always up for reading or writing about a favorite character getting the ever-living crud beaten out of him or her.
You'll notice I have some old stories posted. Many of them were written when I was about 18 or 19, but I leave them up to show myself my own improvement in writing. Yay for ego-boost!
And now, on to business. My goal is by January 1, 2008 to have at least one, GOOD fic completed here on ff.net. Listed below are the fics I plan on working on soon:
In the Blink of an Eye: (TMNT)
A story introducing my character Josie. Not much more to the plot there.
Sins of Our Fathers: (TMNT)
The life story of John Bishop, dating all the way back to the 1780s, all the way up to present day.
Forbidden Fruit: (FMA)
Ed thinks he’s been sent undercover into a private female
academy merely to investigate the disappearances of a few students. What he’s about to find is a gruesome mystery
even the most twisted of minds cannot fathom.
Glad Tidings: (FMA)
Al is miserable, so why is Ed happy about it? As the Elrics arrive in
England in
December of 1923 on the trail of the Uranium Bomb from their world, Alphonse
comes down with a cold. Thankfully his
big brother is very willing to take care of him.
Paradise Lost: (FMA)
On their way to make a report to Colonel Mustang, Ed and Al
happen upon a little town that’s not on the map. A woman named Doria Sieton has been building
the area up for over a year by taking in orphans and runaways, and with the
children seems to have created a utopia.
But something strange is going on. Ed and Al need to get to the bottom of a very
weird mystery before they’re convinced to stay…forever.
