it is my pleasure to join this site. I'm relatively new to the art of fanfiction writing, but am pleased to have been posted to both Occlumency and The Petulant Poetess. From the two sites I've selected for posting, it should be evident which of the HP characters I find most fascinating. I do tend to write in a more serious vein than some. Not much for the roll in the hay type of fictions - fun to read of course, but not especially satisfying to me as a writer. I do tend to be quite interested at the moment in weaving themes of Celtic myth into my tales of magic.

Professionally, I'm Director of Operations for a modern dance ensemble based in Colorado. Privately I'm a bookworm, wife, mother of two exceptional young women. My life is a journey of constant discovery - and the journey just gets more interesting all the time.
