About myself: I'm a college student with the intention of becoming a high school math teacher. Why math teacher, you wonder. I want to become a teacher because I have learned that I love inspiring people. I inspired some people to write with my own works, and I've inspired others to realize their love for music through my own passion for the subject. I've had many teachers who have helped me grow to become the young woman I am today, and I want to be the kind of teacher that does that for my students. If I can help just one student realize their dreams, then I feel like everything that's led me to that point will be entirely worth it. I am fairly religious, I would say, though I'm still learning. I was raised Presbyterian, but wasn't brought to church very often as a child, and baptized Pentecostal this past spring, and have been trying to attend church more regularly now. Overall, I'm an easy person to get along with and am more than willing to be friendly with someone, so long as they show the same towards me.

About my writing: I am an OC writer, and I am very proud it admit such a fact. I put forth a lot of effort into the characters I create for writing purposes. Now, the characters I create for 'in my head' scenarios are a different matter, but let's not get too off-task here. I create characters with the idea of hopefully adding something interesting to the story I am writing. Be it a tough pirate chick who has to learn to be softer (Ember Silver), or a servant girl who is broken from her bondage and must learn who she really is (Kala), or even some character I have yet to create. I try to make my characters grow through their stories and while I do include romance in these stories, I try to focus more on the character growth and how a romance works with that. I'm not the best at it, but it's a continuing process and I like to think I'm getting better with each story I write.

Despite the fact that I write OC stories, I actually read very few of them, simply for the reason that I can't stand to. Yes, you've read correctly. I can hardly stand to read the very story types that I write. "But why, Min?" you may ask. Or "Well, that's rather hypocritical of you" you may judge. But let's be honest, not all OC fics are top quality. I'm not saying my work is top quality--far from it. But when it comes to me finding a story I want to read, I'd rather not spend my time reading about Miss Mary Sue and how she made the hottest guy fall for her and her 'quirky' nature through sheer force of will and the fact that the universe loves her. I've come across so many of those that I'm too wary to read many OC fics. The ones that I do spend my time reading, however, are very good and I would recommend anyone that looks through my favorites list to check some of them out to see if they might be your cup of tea.

This story will be exploring something that I brought up towards the end of "Beautiful Disaster". Sort of tying up loose ends, if you'd like to think of it as that. Retitled because I felt as though the lyrics to "Dance With the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin really fit the feel of the story. Check out the song if you want. :D

My favorite is "What if Lucy hadn't taken poison?" This is my way to explain how the show would have been different. Clearly, this is an AU story, and my first AU at that, but I plan to do a good job with it. The prologue is up for a sneak peak.
