Mmmmk. Profile.

Well... I'm 15, live in British Columbia, am glued to my computer chair, and love stories.

I used to have another account on here, but I put way way way to many stories on alert and my email got swamped...I have around 1500 unread alerts, so I made a new account for more recent stories. ( No I am not telling what my old account was, I posted a few really terrible Naruto stories on it that I'm ashamed to remember)

I read fanfics for many many different fandoms. Quite a few fics I read are fics of fandoms (anime usually) where I don't even like original anymore. I breathe fanfics. I write all the time, but while I've started tons and tons of different stories, I've never finished anything multi-chaptered.

I like in my books:

Science fiction that's mostly not set in space (Orson Scott Card)

Fantasy, as long as its original and not cliched (All my examples are pretty obscure...)

Little to no romance

Little to no moralizing or 'lessons'

Dry humor and insightful humor (Terry Pratchett)

Anti-heroes, cowards, jerks, cynics, and selfish people as main characters.

In movies or TV (I don't have a clue why I like different things depending on the media)

SCIENCE FICTION!! (Firefly, Serenity, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Torchwood)

Fantasy (again) with scifi undertones (or sometimes just straight fantasy), or the other way around (Lost, Merlin )

Romance as a subplot, but not at all predominant.

An actual plot, no mindless shooting, or long slow motion action scenes please?

Supernatural but not spiritual (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Lighthearted humor

Funny jerks (House)

In my fanfiction (this is where it gets weird)

I hate scifi or fantasy unless the original fiction was of the same genre.

Romance! (Wtf?)

HORROR!! If I could live on it, I would. There's no where near enough horror fanfics. (I hate horror movies...O.o)

Mind games/ psycological torture (Though physical's fun too)

Sex as a dominance/power thing (Mostly only in Death Note)

Angst! (I'm 15 okay, what do you expect?)

Time travel IF written well and without the time travelee getting UBERAWESOMESKILLSOFPWNAGE

The occasional supremely messed up, yet really really good, crack fic

While I do have favourite pairings that I purposly seek out, I will read any as long as it's good. I don't care if its hetero- or homosexual. Although the majority of my favourite characters are guys, so I do tend to read more slash.
