Author has written 7 stories for NCIS, and Merlin. Recently I noticed a few people had accessed my profile. Sorry, I had nothing here so I thought I'd better add a touch of information... I hail from Canada and in my real life I am a PhD level Psychologist. Yep, that's DR. LovesAngst to you, really! :) My pen name says it all, I am a big fan of angst, which might seem strange given I listen to real troubles all day. I tend to be more of a thinker and less of a feeler, reading angst helps me balance myself a bit better I think. I love reading and writing about very intense emotion. As a psychologist and a writer, I think I am in a unique position to be able to draw strong emotion from my readership as well. Some people enjoy it, some do not :) NCIS--I love Gibbs and his barely-held emotions. Perhaps I relate? In particular I love episodes and fanfic in which Gibbs' softer feelings for others (especially for Tony) are brought to the surface. I had a similar love affair years ago with Mulder and Scully (Mulder-angst especially) and read Bones fanfic for the Booth angst and occasionally Numb3rs fanfic for Don angst (love his relationship with Charlie). Merlin--a few summers ago Merlin (a BBC series) was aired in Canada. I love the characters and the actors who play them. The relationship that is building between Merlin and Arthur is a delight...so, naturally I torture tham in my mind with some angst! Finally, I really love feedback.
