Author has written 6 stories for StarTrek: Enterprise. Visit my homepage for more stories. Some are old and I'm a little embarassed of them. Others I haven't gotten around to posting here yet. I'm 25, and have been a Trekkie since watching TOS and TAS while eating Cherrios as a kid. My parents are Trekkies, so I guess I was born Trekkie. I've lived in Oklahoma all my life, but have traveled to most of the continental U.S. My hobbies are writing, reading, HTML, CSS, photoshop, and occassionally drawing. I wrote my first fanfic around 10 years-old. It was TOS and contained an original character Jeana Miller who could leave her body and go into anothers to heal them. I picked up writing early in 2004 by accident. I wrote about a spoiler I'd heard, and the piece was little over a page. My views on 'shippyness: I think that no 'shipper group is wrong in believing in their pairing. I believe chemistry is a matter of perspective. Some people might see sexual tension, chemistry, or "sparks" between two people while others just see friendship. What I think about: reviewing stories just to bash a writer's 'shippy preferences: I don't see the point in reviewing just to say "Your pairing sucks!" I don't think reviews like that will ever change anyone's 'shippy pairing preferences. And it's not constructive criticism for the author IMO. Plus it makes the reviewer saying that sort of comment look bad. | |||||||
