Some of my own original poems, enjoy! :) A Beating Lie The stars tonight are very bright. How I wish I could reach into the sky. The stars are like a beacon to my light. I walk through life with an impending lie. No one can sense the pain that I feel here. Do they not see the trouble in my eyes? A lie that is filled with a single tear. A lie that taints my soul as a grave nears. Tonight we are dancing with a secret. A secret that will tear us apart now. Please forgive me as I let you deplete. As I stand with you my heart is so low. You are gone now but my heart is still on. All it took for you to go was a lie. A Shattered Love It has been one week since you left me. One week since I last saw you smile. You left me here alone with a missing piece inside my soul. Do you watch me from above? Do you watch as I wither away like a flame Slowly Dying? My heart is a shattering mirror that once held life but now no longer. The moment you passed away my heart cracked and smacked against my chest. Now I lay here on my death bed Waiting to see your face once more. Writing (why I love it!) Welcoming escape to a faraway land where Rules in your world are your own to create and Interesting characters in every turn. Treacherousadventures on every flowing line.
