I'm a 40-year-old single mom with a passion for Twilight. I write for a living, working in online content for a major ecommerce site. I've done a lot of professional writing, but have never had any fiction published. This is a fun outlet for me to try my hand at writing fiction with some of my favourite characters. Hope you enjoy!

As some of you know, real life has been keeping me busy of late. I'm a single mom now and, while that's a good thing, it takes some getting used to. I also travel a great deal for work. As a result, the majority of my writing time is now dedicated to the rework of Behind Enemy Lines. I just finished the second edit and am pleased with the progress to date. Balticward appreciates all the fan mail and promises that you will see him again in one form or another. Please note that copies of BEL are not available at this time, the work is not posted anywhere else and I do not have an ETA for when it will be reposted. I would personally appreciate it if previous Word copies of the story were not circulated.

I'm sure I will have some new fic to share with you in the new year. I also write the occasional outtake of my two other stories, The Mirrors and Silence & Security, when the spirit moves me. Please be aware that I don't generally write for contests and do not pimp my stories for competitions or reviews. I write the stories that I love for the love of writing them and sharing them with you. I appreciate all the feedback and reviews I receive, positive or negative.

A Rough Start and The Cannabean Betrothal, both by ItzMegan73. I really enjoy her writing style, and her characters are fresh and original. Definitely recommend this author.

The Trip Home by my dear friend mskathy. Being a bit clueless in alternate lifestyles, I had no idea what polyamory was before I read this story. Don't let the triad relationship put you off as it did me for so long - mskathy writes love better than anyone else on the site. This story has the added bonus of being complete, and is a heartwarming, eye-opening read. Try it.

Show Me a Garden that's bursting into life by atypical-swan. This is slash morphing into polyamory. But it's the warmth of this story that captures me ... the author has created one of the most appealing family dynamics I've ever read. Algie says she wants to crawl into Jasper's footlocker and live there, and I agree.

La canzone della Bella Cigna by philadelphic. Watch out, it'll make you think! A fantastic AU adventure ride with fresh twists on canon. Plus you learn a lot about music along the way.

Broken by Alice laughed is absolutely my favorite non E/B story. It's about Quil and Claire, and is utterly compelling. Unfortunately, it doesn't update much, but I remain optimistic.

Conspicuously absent from this list are the wonderful stories by my dear friend algonquinrt. She has had to step away from fic after a gross violation of her privacy perpetrated by the sperm donor of her children. Another author will be taking over algie's works in progress, and I will post links to those once that handoff has taken place. I am continually grateful that, although my ex and I could no longer live together as husband and wife, he is a great father and a terrific partner in parenting.

There are so many more terrific stories on the site - I am continually amazed by the talent and character displayed here.
