Author has written 27 stories for Sailor Moon, Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru/裏切りは僕の名前を知っている, Kimi ni Todoke/君に届け, and Ouran High School Host Club. Hello everyone! My name is Nury (which is short for Nuriya :)) I would like to thank those of you who review my stories :) Getting attention and feedback is always nice and heartwarming. That is, those who add my stories or my author's id to their fave lists... I thank you too, for this kind of a silent appreciation of my writing. However, my deepest and most affectionate gratitude goes to those of you who are kind and generous enough to spare their time and efforts and find the kind words to encourage my writing, to comment my stories and, by that, to help me grow as a writer :) Because, as some of you already know, I put my heart into my writing, and when I get the feedback... that's the best compliment from you :) And that's what makes me want to write better. For your pleasure :) Thank you dearly. Once and for all: I don't own any of the characters used in my fanfiction. I don't make any profit of it. I write only for fun :) About my stories Well, let me sum up a little. So far (that is, by the end of 2012) I have posted - as FanFiction tells me - 24 stories. Although, I have to admit that there are probably twice fewer because I tend to translate and post my stories both in English and Russian, and only a few of them exist so far in only one language :) When I only began watching the 'Sailor Moon' anime (or better say, re-watching it after many years), I fell for Seiya/Usagi pairing right away. Yes, because thanks to my sister we began watching SM from the last season. Smaaarty... :) Oh well, at least that's how I came here, in the fanfiction world. Which I'm happy I did! :) The 'Sharing The Moonlight' ("Лунный свет на двоих" - since it was originally written in Russian) was my first fanfiction, and it was a one-shot about Seiya and Usagi and their confession. I like it because it's romantic, a bit angsty and... okay, I just like it. Maybe because it was my first fiction :) Or because it is about Seiya and Usagi, who knows. The "Фотосъемка" ('Photoshooting') is about Yaten mostly and it's silly and humorous, but... in spite of the drabble's silliness it still makes me smile whenever I read it :) I never thought I would write anything about Yaten, to start with. But somehow a one-shot about Seiya getting a new camera and taking pictures of everything and everyone around turned into the one-shot with Yaten starring. It was quite surprising even for me. How it happened, is still beyond me :) After finishing the episodes with the Starlights I wanted to see more of the Sailor Moon and, vaguely remembering that I liked two strange girls somewhere in the middle of my childhood, I began watching the third season. Fell in love with Haruka immediately and left Seiya behind (sorry, Seiya). And even though Haruka and Michiru were the best, the most beautiful couple in the whole world and I was mesmerized and fascinated by their grace and love... there was something intriguing and refreshing about Haruka and Usagi's relationship. After reading the manga I liked the idea of the two of them together even more (there are so many beautiful moments of Haruka and Usagi that, sadly, were not shown in anime), and that is how the 'Another Dream About Us' ("По ту сторону ночи" in Russian) was born. A Haruka/Usagi story about a one-night stand and its aftermath. With a small part of Michiru in the end. A love story, of course :) After finishing the 'Another Dream' I found myself attracted immensely by Haruka and Michiru's outstanding personalities, and I would not lie if I told that the lines for the 'When Mysterious Greys Cry' ("Когда серые глаза плачут" in Russian) were literally haunting me. I wrote them down everywhere, even waking up in the middle of the night. To be honest, I like it much better in Russian (mostly because the whole thing heavily relies on the epithets and for me they sound more natural in Russian, of course) but there are some things that sound better in English, and that is why I'm very happy I have both versions now. I hope my translation managed to convey the most important moments of the story. It is a story about making a choice... and about the all-winning love, I'd say. I thought the 'Another Dream' would be the longest story I would write... but I was wrong :) Because even after writing down all the sketches I have made for the 'Fighting For Your Love' I realized that it was going to be quite a long story (but I have to admit, I never thought that it's going to be THAT long!). Even now as I write it... even though I know the key moments of it and the ending... I find myself carried away by the whirl of events and situations I'm supposed to show there to make the story look and sound the way I mean it to. Sounds weird? I suppose so. Basically, it's a story about a threesome, about the relations between Haruka, Michiru and Usagi. I would say it's also a story about making mistakes, wrong or right choices and infidelity, but... I believe that people often have the valid reasons (excuses, if you will) for each of their choices and decisions, and things are rarely as simple as they may seem - that is what I am trying to show there. Then there is 'I Will Be Kissing You Tomorrow' ("Завтра я буду целовать тебя" in Russian), that was written in the middle of writing the 'Fighting'. A Haruka/Usagi one-shot written in Haruka's P.O.V. It is about how Haruka sees Usagi, about her feelings for the moonlight princess. It's very short but I like it because, for me, emotions and the lines came out pretty Haruka-like (at least, the way I meant them to), and I wanted to show that there is a very affectionate and tender person behind a brutal and somewhat unfeeling facade Haruka used to show to the world. Also I am happy that my friends got me to translate it into Russian, after all. So more people will be able to read it here, where I live.
