Author has written 46 stories for SWAT Kats, Trigun, Inuyasha, Anime X-overs, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Blue Exorcist/青の祓魔師.
- My username is kristensk. Go there to see what I'm up to, what projects I'm currently focused on, what I'm interested in. Usually the first place I post any drabbles/shorts.
I'm a would-be illustrator working as a graphic designer, secretary, and all-purpose go-fer. In my spare time, I tend to busy myself writing fanfiction, drawing fanart, chatting and generally procrastinating. Kristen Sharpe is not my real name, but it will do for this quite nicely, and I now answer to "Kris" readily. And, I'm not too proud to answer to "Hey, you!" either.
Ao no/Blue Exorcist and Fullmetal Alchemist are my current writing and reading obsessions. SWAT Kats and Inuyasha remain lasting favorites. But, my interests encompass all manner of animation and sci-fi... with the odd fantasy mixed in. And, though I don't usually read fanfic for them, some of my other interests include Star Wars and anything by Orson Scott Card (especially his Ender books).
My unmarked ongoing SWAT Kat series - the "Technical Difficulties Series" is comprised of (in this order): H2Oh,No - Nuke It! - Technical Difficulties - Have Yourself a Mad Little Christmas - Hide N' Seeker - Silent Pursuit - Guard Duty - The Storm's Drawing Nearer - Doubletake
Fics in Progress (2/22/13)
"What in the Blue Blazes?": My new catch-all entry for short Blue Exorcist fics. Because the bunnies would not be denied. The latest entry is "Faith" (added 2/22/13).
"Shrimp Paella": My catch-all entry for short Fullmetal Alchemist fics. The latest entry is "Favorite" (added 10/29/12).
"Nameless": My entry for the 2010 - 2011 FMA Big Bang Challenge. It's going to be a long one, and, aside from the odd drabble, this is my main focus right now. I'm currently battling my way through the finale of the Liore flashback sequence. Oh, and thanks to anonymous reviewer Katie, as well as kudos for catching my "Early Edition" reference!
"Ground Rules": Thanks to SageSK's urging and the suggestions of reviewers, this has expanded into a short series of drabbles. The latest entry is "Safeguard" (added 11/8/10). Yes, I've now started on Al meeting the crew.
"Miscommunication": Chapter 9 is in-progress, probably about 70 percent complete. As always, thank you to everyone who has reviewed and expressed interest in the story despite my painful slowness with it. This is, yes, on hold while I finish "Nameless".
"Doubletake": Barring sudden accidents, will be finished before I die.
Yes, I've let several of the incomplete stories sit for a long, long time, but nothing is officially or even unofficially cancelled. Honest. I'm just a horrible procrastinator and as well as a very slow writer.
