Author has written 3 stories for Puella Magi Madoka Magica/魔法少女まどか★マギカ. IT IS ME, THY GREAT CAPTAIN AFRICA Uhhh so basically you should probably only read Yes, You May, as I don't think you'd like anything else. I don't know. I don't really read fanfiction nor am I not sure how to judge them. It seems rather uncreative to try to 1.) either predict where the plot is going or 2.) go after some MECHAKAWAII pairing and get praise praise praise... In general I don't have that much time to burn my eyes doing such though so I guess I'm not to judge. In any case, yes my former penname was EpicBoredom, writer of a whole lot of extremely disturbing and/or crap fanfics. I've deleted my Haruhi ones but kept my first two Madoka ones because it still provides insight on Yes You May which is in all regards a semi-sequel. Now to answer anything that might come my way... Actually, if you read Yes, You May many compliants you have will be thoroughly answered and refuted. My rights to expression do not end where your feelings begin and get offended. You have a right to spout slave-morality crap at me, but I have the right to ignore it, just like you have the right to ignore what you perceive as bad fanfiction. In any case I read a review from a guest; I'm definitely not trying to act holier than thou, that was pretty much how the community seemed to me. Some basic facts about me: I am a 17-year old boy (born 1995) of Chinese descent and interested in philosophy, animation and literature, aside from the predictable anime and video games. I am a lolicon and pretty shy and reserved in real life when I'm not acting crazy (which is most of the time) I feel I have to say a bit more, so here I'll discuss how poorly I wrote the characters in my stories, starting with my own: Ulrich/Andy/May's father -- Shameless self-insert. Definitely could've wrote better, but I guess like in real life I put up an intellectual shell and hide my frailty. I don't know. What started as a romantic hero morphed into an intellectual one, and devolved into the representation of the pinnacle of human evil given free will Zusa Kanajo -- Zusa is a nice girl. She doesn't develop much, but that also means I can develop her a lot more in my original works. Abandoned-then-adopted child of Azusa Nakano and Sol Badguy, perhaps? May Sakemura -- Don't you dare insult my daughter. She does most of the speaking, playing, and crying for me in Yes You May. Thought experiments ftw. If I was to have a real daughter I'd probably name her Mato or something (Black Rock Shooter) Or maybe yuu (YOU!) or STRength. (Hell yeah) Onto the other characters... Homura Akemi -- Love blinds my writing for this one, although given the limited screentime of a character in a show it's really hard to say what's the proper way to express a character Kyoko Sakura -- Oh boy... I think like Homura, I used other characters in order to get across emotions/themes that I didn't want to express with myself. I don't think she's terribly written in Yes, You May though. Mami Tomoe -- BREASTS. NO LIKE. ONLY EXISTS TO DIE. WHAT IS HER ROLE. ajekrlejawlrkejawkle Sayaka Miki -- Representation of the ordinary person/fanfiction reader/moral slave. She and May debate a lot about what constitutes a legitimate and/or rational action in Yes, You May. I don't really hate her given that I was probably that immature/aggressive when I was fourteen, and since lack of intellect is something people are sort of born with. I think she's the most human of MadoMagi characters as she freely makes her mistakes, while the other girls' negative behaviors can be attributed to the situation, but please, no praising her for being an angel. Madoka Kaname -- Such natural compassion is replaced by a more intellectual curiosity in Yes, You May. I find it ironic how at the end of Madoka she is supposed to be some all-forgiving figure and then you go see the moral-slaves' internet rage. TOO PURE TOO PURE. Just like Christianity, *shakes my head* an all-loving figure's words are disregarded as people go on moral crusades in that figure's name to hurt and insult others. Kyubey -- Who the devil needs Kyubey when you have asshole OC's spouting twice the amount of his philosophy? Also, since his tricks are sort of just out of the bag now, it diminishes his value. I have no idea what the Madoka girls would think of all this. I might write a Haruhi fanfiction in the future, a Walpurgis Night fanfiction (probably already done), or some more moe slice-of-life Madoka stuff, still featuring my daughter. hahahaha If you send me rage or try to get me to change I'll probably ignore it. If you want to have a nice talk I'm up for a PM.
