I2L UPDATE - Sorry for the long hiatus everyone...RL has been getting in the way a bunch...my mom has been really sick (she's out of the hospital and good to go now though, so that's good), I strained a tendon in my wrist (yes the my writing hand - gaaaahhhh!), and have been bombarded with work stuff to no end...in between been trying to study for my comps to finally get my master's so yeah...its been a bit hectic...I promise I will let you all know when its up...I'll post it on Twitter for sure, so if you don't follow me...go there...things will probably remain quiet for the next month (I take comps June 5th), but I promise, if I can get the next chapter out before then, I will ; ) Thanks all for your patience and understanding, and most of all for your kind words and support fot this little story I've tried writing...lub you all to reeces pieces!! Okay, I always find it helpful to look at people's profiles when I'm am looking for a story to read or after I have read a story. So here goes.

I am in my early 30s,

I come from a family of 5 children, and I am the only girl,

I have been married for 9 years,

I have 2 kids, a boy (10) and a girl (6), and am soooo done unless adopting later in life actually materializes for us,

My son has just discovered the Beatles, plays the electric guitar, and is now letting his hair grow out,

My daughter thinks she is the next Hannah Montana,

I am trying to finish my thesis to physically obtain the formal piece of paper they call a diploma,

I am a policy research analyst,

I do subscribe to a dying breed of idealists, and yes,

I am hopelessly distracted by this fanfiction!

OCTOBER 18, 2009: Hello everyone! So, I took a massive hiatus--not purposely, it just kind of happened. Anyway, I have my permanent betas with Project Team Beta (which they are soooo great!) -- DreaC and MaggieCullen -- thanks to both for being so patient! : )

I submitted chapter 6 for edits, so hopefully I will be able to turn it around quickly enough to get that posted and end the waiting. Not to worry...the story will be progressing and I have some twists and turns in store, so I hope you all get a chance to check it out when I update.
