Name: Maddie Rose

Age: 15 years old - I know I am younger than many others on the site, but please don't judge me because of my age. I have been writing for many years despite my age (or lack of) and believe me when I say I know what I'm doing.

Species: Mostly human

Marital Status: In a Flirtationship (if you don't know what that means...feel free to ask mwahaha)

Nationality: Australian...even if I am from Mars.

Religion: Atheist (also called Heathen - again if you don't know, I don't bite...just ask)

I am in Year Ten at the high school I go to, and I planning on doing subjects like Drama and English Literature next year. I love writing and hope to do it as a profession someday. I reeeally want to be an author, so I better cook up some good stories.

INANE MUTTERINGS ON FANFICTION

Reviews: Reviews are great whether they're constructive criticism or praise for your work. If people tell you that a character is a Mary Sue/Gary Stu - take as a compliment that they're wanting to tell you their opinion to make your work better. They could just as well not bother. If someone reviews your work, you really should take a look at theirs and review if its the kind of thing you enjoy reading. If its not, thank them for reviewing all the same, especially if they're a constant reviewer.

OCs: It's easy to tell a Mary Sue or Gary Stu if they're taking the limelight from other characters in the story. If the OC in question becomes the centre of the universe, stealing away the plot from the original and turning it into something about them, you have a Mary Sue on your hands. Characters should remain true to what they are like in the book/movie, etc.

Flames: If you don't like someone's story there's no need to be a dog about it. Seriously, constructive criticism is awesome and much appreciated, but if you go around telling authors to do things like get raped, shot or commit suicide then that's going too far. If you don't like the plot of people's stories, then don't read them! It's as simple as that. I personally will write what I want when I want. This site is all about imagination and going away from canon to creating universes that are entirely your own. People don't have the right to criticise you for doing that. If you go on about how someone's story sucks, maybe you should think. Teenagers won't have the same experience in writing as adults, but anyone is allowed to have a go.

Out of Character: If you're going to write about a character from a book or movie, please make them believable. It's really irritating when people write stories, having the characters do things they would never normally do. If it's parody or humour, fine. But if you're supposed to be writing a believable work of fiction, keep the characters intact. Also, crappy romance sucks. If you have a pairing between an OC and a character, make it real and take it slow. I myself have written crappy romances, and I'm learning from my mistakes and trying to make characters and their feelings more realistic.

Incest: I'm sorry, but incest is a step too far in my opinion. Why would anyone have a romantic relationship with their siblings, parents, cousins, etc? It is just disgusting and it is wrong.

CHARACTERS I LIKE/DISLIKE

Italics indicates a character I really cannot stand, while bold indicates a character that is really awesome and that I really like.

STAR WARS
Obi-wan Kenobi: In my opinion, one of the greatest Jedi in history. He managed to physically kill Darth Maul and General Grievous, and was responsible for the deaths of many others. I can't believe how it must feel to go through as many things as he does and still remain such a good person - his master died, he watched the Jedi Order fall and Anakin become a Sith Lord. He is a remarkable character and an inspiration.
Qui-Gon Jinn: I just wish he'd had more time in the films! He seems like such a cool person and he defies the Jedi Council. He is always very calm and he is one of the kindest people in the entire film series.
Darth Maul: There so much mystery about him, and he is such a good fighter for someone who is so young and filled with hate. He dies waaaay too early in the film series (like a lot of other characters) for my liking and it would have been good to find out more about him and how he became a Sith Lord at a young age.
General Grievous: The only complaint I have is his death. You do not shoot General Grievous. Even if you are Obi-wan, YOU JUST DO NOT! For such a brilliant warrior, he died off way too easily - like Darth Maul. He has some awesome lines and he is a strategist and skilled fighter. He is NOT a droid.
Darth Vader: Not Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader. I can't believe how someone like the King of Losers could become someone as cool as Darth Vader. Basically, he is a Sith Lord and he is awesome.
Anakin Skywalker: Oh my God. Go have a cry! Some of the things he says to Padme are just plain creepy (eg. "You're exactly the way I remember you in my dreams.") and he is just so annoying. How can anyone so selfish become the Chosen One?
Palpatine: Go and get reconstructive surgery on your face. Also, your 'dry cackle' could do with some work.

NEWS AND UPDATES

October 2009: Revision on Bounty Hunter's Game begins. I am going to focus more on the pasts of Messiril, Obi-wan and Darth Maul, as well as Messiril's older sister Sheniquaa who is a Dark Jedi. I need to focus a lot more on developing Messiril and Obi-wan before I can focus on their relationship. Last time was much too quick! All in all, I'm trying to make Bounty Hunter's Game a better story. My aim is vaguely 50 chapters, but it could well be more than that.

THE LOVE CONQUESTS - A CHRONICLES OF NARNIA SERIES

Rose in Narnia (Chronicles of Narnia): Rose Finley is the best friend of the Pevensies, and is swept into the world of Narnia along with them. Princess Rose: The Golden Age (Chronicles of Narnia): Princess Rose is finding her place in the prophecy, and her role as the Protector. While she is married to High King Peter, she begins to experience conflicting feelings. Who is Rose really in love with: Peter, or his younger brother Edmund?

Just so you know, I'm planning on rewriting Rose in Narnia, because I don't think it was good enough or detailed enough. The later chapters are better, but frankly the first several ones are absolutely appalling and I can do much better.

Bounty Hunter's Game (Star Wars): Messiril Wolfe is a bounty hunter in her teens, who admittedly seeks bounties in exchange for money and protection by the infamous Lyle Fett. Things aren't as straightforward as all that, as Messiril's personal feelings start to get in the way...she might not only lose her job, but her life... UNDER REVISION

The Last Kenobi (Star Wars): Ilirea Kenobi is the feisty daughter of the famous Jedi Obi-wan Kenobi, the 'Negotiator'. She struggles to keep up with her dad, his tempestuous apprentice Anakin Skywalker and her best friend Ahsoka Tano. Ilirea is catapulted into the Clone Wars, and finds her world spiralling into a darkness which the galaxy might not recover from...

Lady Agonies (Star Wars): Taalya Ellesper is the spirited daughter of Mikhail Ellesper and Ilirea Kenobi. She feels lonely, as her parents are both Jedi and are always out on missions. All The Things She Said (Star Wars): Knightfall, Order 66. Darth Vader stumbles across Ilirea Kenobi, a Padawan and the daughter of his now greatest enemy, Obi-wan. He must face his conflicted emotions. Another 'what if', this time focuses on what would have happened if Vader killed Ilirea instead of Ahsoka Tano.

CHRONICLES OF SHADE - AN X-MEN SERIES

The Legend of Shade (X-Men Movies): Nikki Sterling, more commonly known as Shade, is a powerful young mutant who happens to be a Class 5. Takes place during and after the events of the X-Men Movies. OCs

I just thought it might be good if I did a brief summary on my OCs, so if you haven't read any of my stories before, you know what to expect of the OCs in them. I only wanted to put up the major OCs who have a big impact on the story.

Messiril Wolfe (Bounty Hunter's Game): A teenage bounty hunter employed to hunt down Qui-Gon Jinn, who is also the target of her wrath after he killed her mother in mysterious circumstances. Messiril is sarcastic, witty and fiery-tempered. However, when she meets Qui-Gon's young Padawan, Obi-wan Kenobi, she soon finds herself having conflicted feelings towards the young man. Messiril is not Force-sensitive, but her older sister Sheniquaa is a Dark Jedi, as her cousin Alcazar was at one time the Sith Lord Darth Lorcus. Having a past of great darkness, Messiril is easily suspicious and mistrustful of others. She is cold and unemotional, preferring to keep to herself rather than make friends with people of her own age. However, this soon begins to change.

Sheniquaa Wolfe (Bounty Hunter's Game): Messiril's older sister and a Dark Jedi. She is not very prominent in the story, being murdered by Darth Maul in the second chapter, however her influence and the case of who killed her and the eleven others are big issues in the story. Sheniquaa was a Sith apprentice at one time when she was fifteen, however she renounced her ways to become a better person. She takes after her mother and is much respected in the Dark Jedi community.

Ilirea Kenobi (The Last Kenobi): The daughter of Obi-wan Kenobi and Messiril Wolfe. Ilirea is a young Padawan who isn't very strong in the Force at twelve years old, and she possesses a violet lightsabre that she made herself. She is much like her mother, being tempestuous, feisty and adventurous. She is also willful, stubborn and disobeys her father on a regular basis. Over the years, Ilirea finds her power in the Force beginning to strengthen dramatically, almost rivalling that of Anakin Skywalker. The question is soon posed whether Ilirea is the Chosen One after all, especially when Anakin is drawn down the path of darkness...

I've decided I'm not going to work randomly on anything at a time because it confuses me. Now that some of my stories are complete, it's going to be easier for me...I hope. Here's what I hope to work on, in order, so you can know what to expect:
