About Me: What to say?

Not too much about myself that is exceedingly fascinating. I am somewhat geeky and quirky; just your average person.

I have an unhealthy penchance for angst and snark, and a healthy one for character development. My name is not really l'amour. Rather it is an allusion to the fabulous poetry Louis L'Amour wrote in his poetry collection Smoke from this Altar. (It is awesome. Really. He's not just the guy who wrote westerns.)

I've been a Phan (Phantom of the Opera fan), obsessive criminal forensic reader, Labyrinth geek, Naruto fangirl, Bones 'vulture', Victorian novel enthusiast, Xena fan, and a self professed Hawaii Five-O fanatic. It's never quite left me, even as I adopted Chloe/Davis from the tv series Smallville as my ship despite/because of the fact the fact that Smallville is primarily mythos/plot based as opposed to consistent. There are stories to tell and hope to hold on to.

Current Writing Projects (in Order of Priority)

Instinctual So. death. is a tight corner that Chloe's found herself in, but all she can think is that she would have come with Davis either way. Funny realizations you get sometimes.
Injustice. As the title suggests, it has a rating.

Square One- The more depressing AU to Instinctual. Chlarkoom. Chlois. 'Mythos'. Mindrape. Second person. Depressing.

Treading Old Ground centers on the character Chloe, following her memory erasal in Abyss. By extension includes character Davis Bloome/Doomsday, and he becomes more central to the story as it moves along. This fic is going to include many of the concepts present in comic! Doomsday incarnation, and some not. I say no more.

Legend of the Fallen Let's see. fantasy, world building epic, with some Robin Hood and many Legend of the Seeker(tv) influences. Chloe/Davis as you've never seen them before. Trust me.

Lathe- So you've probably heard about the sheltering. My attempt to understand what's going on with Chloe. Infamous/Beast Spoiler Speculation. (Chloe/Davis) Most likely an eight parter. Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 complete of a possible 8 or 9. Choc full of every (old) spoiler I can get my hands on. And something that might be a twist.

Ricochet- Chlavis back in Vessel? You don't say. Apocalyptic fic (what if Braniac hadn't just vanished into a hole for a while?). REPORTER Chloe as she should be, a stray bullet at someone-we-will-not-mention, young-helpful-and-still-woobie-paramedic-in-training Davis and a... dark theatre?

Time Bomb- Who else saw the Beast deleted scene? Really qualifies as smut. REALLY.

Completed fics I'd like to do continuations for. Sometime.

Madness- Eternal followup, because it was just that awesome. (!!) What they felt finally did come out into the open and it was beautiful. Also, because she closed that door from the inside.

Crossing Over- Chloe and Davis, post-Turbulence. I think this is my favorite of my stuff. So if you have to pick out, pick this. ;)

Freefall- Post-Bulletproof, a fic where Chloe finds out about the memory wipe sooner rather than later.

Shadow and Soul- Davis, Post-Legion. My attempt to understand how he would deal.

Clark Kent: SuperHero?-Clark. Chloe. Davis. A crackverse that grabs all of those spoilers and turns them inside out. Two Part and Complete.

Illusion Moment by moment Davis's emotions are leaking into Doomsday, and Chloe is more afraid of losing him than she can admit. Beast.

Somnium. Continuation to Illusion. Chloe and Davis's trip away from Smallville is cut tragically short with the interference of the Injustice league. 'Davis' returns from the phantom zone changed and begins to complete his mission bit by bit. Things begin to go to hell again. The one thing standing in the way of Zod's plan is Chloe's determination to get Davis back. Zod possession. Injustice. request by davrosfan.

Timor Despite what Davis said, something is between Chloe and the rest of her life. Why does Clark's plan terrify her so much? Doomsday.
