So, about Bellum Domesticum...
Several reviewers have asked if I intend on finishing the story or if I've abandoned it. To be completely honest, I had abandoned it. Real life simply got in the way for a couple of years, and I haven't logged in to Fanfiction.net since I posted the last chapter. Lately, I've once again found myself indulging in reading Harry Potter fanfiction. While browsing around a Snape/Harry fanfiction site, I came across a link to my old story, re-read the last few chapters, and realized that I wanted to know how it ended, too. After much catching up with forgotten passwords and unread reviews, I decided to dust off Bellum Domesticum and consider completing it.
Now, I don't have a lot of spare time to devote to writing, but I probably have enough to make at least a little bit of progress with Bellum Domesticum. I'd really like to go back and edit it, especially some of the embarassing cliches in the first few chapters. I have a sneaking suspicion, however, that I wouldn't get around to posting new chapters if I really took the editing seriously. The story's already roughly halfway finished, and I still remember many of the ideas I wanted to include in future chapters. Unfortunately, I don't know if I still have my notes; they may have been (literally) tossed into the rubbish bin when I was moving. I can't promise regular updates. I don't know if I'll ever finish the story. But, no, it's not abandonded. Not any more, anyway!
At the moment, my goal is to post the next chapter in a couple of weeks. Keep checking for updates!
