ANNOUNCEMENT

03/05/2012 - Hi guys. Yes, I'm still alive. Yes, I get your messages and read your reviews (thank you all so much, btw :D). I haven't had the time to reply to most of them, because University and persistent real life issues take up most of my time. It also means that I haven't much time to write, especially this year, which is my 2nd at Uni and contains the bulk of the workload.

I'm not here to make promises, but to let you know that Phoenix Soar has not died yet and writes whenever she can, which is ... not much admittedly, but still. (I know this is not the first time I've said that, but please please do understand that there are many reasons for my inactivity T_T) It still makes me so happy to see people commenting on my stories and your reviews/messages give me the determination to finish what I've started. I always said I'd never abandon anything and I still have no thought of doing so. I just really lack the time to sit down, think over what I've planned/plotted, and write it all out.

I still cannot promise a date for an update, but the ideas/unfinished chapters are still there, and there will come a day when they will make it on here. Right now, I'm just not in a position where I can say when.

I apologise once again and thank you all so so so much for your encouragement (and random blackmail/threats to get me to update xD). I miss you guys a lot

Name: It originated somewhere in Asia and generally means "Pride of the King". Let's see if you can guess it ... ;)

Age: One more year before I lose my status as a teenager. (Where is Peter Pan/Neverland when you need 'em?!)

Gender: XX chromosomes. Do the Bio.

Looks: Black hair, dark brown eyes, relatively tall, nothing special. :)

Random Stuff You Probably Couldn't Care Less About

Words often used to describe me: Weird. Twisted. (And occasionally, "annoying" - though, of course, I bring that upon myself :P)

Watching the moon/sunrise/sunset, counting the stars, listening to the rain while drifting off to sleep ... I value the simple joys of life.

Tomboy tendencies and lack of interest in typical girl stuff - yep, I'm the bane of my decidedly effeminate mother and sisters' existences ... and I love it xD

"One true love"? Pfft. I'd choose a big bunch of friends any day of the week.

I used to get urges to hug my old African Grey - ya know, those huge, bone-crushing hugs? - and then eat it, which I'm convinced was all due to love.

Pretty much everything I see is "cute" to me. All those adorable mice, tarantulas, snakes ...

Marriage is something I firmly believe in. Love, though, is still a big question mark ... (Kinda contradictory, ain't it?)

I absolutely adore reading. Favourite authors include Neil Gaiman, Phillip Pullman, Eoin Colfer, J. K. Rowling, Louis Sachar and so on.

I have officially decided upon D'arvit as my choice swear word. (Fellow "Artemis Fowl" fans, you know what I'm talking about! xD)

Currently, my fandoms are Naruto, Harry Potter, Inheritance Cycle (Eragon) - though I'm not a fan of the books/movie - and, occasionally, Chronicles of Narnia, Cardcaptor Sakura, WOWP plus some assorted others.

"Unorthodox Matchmakers" (Harry Potter) - When Draco Malfoy wished upon the enchanted engagement rings to find him his perfect bride, the very last thing he expected was to end up with a certain Harry Potter ... nonyaoi, femHarry. - Updates are likely to become more infrequent in the future.

"Three Pieces of the Puzzle" (Nobuta wo Produce) - "You will be able to meet different kinds of people." "And then one day, you will never see them again..." - But for Shuji, Akira and Nobuta, it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. Friendship fic! Mild Akira/Nobuta. - Will be around two or three chapters. Updates will probably be infrequent.

"Playing With Fire" (Naruto) - It was a mutual, non-spoken agreement between two headstrong neighbours: they weren’t friends, they didn’t talk and they didn’t acknowledge each other’s existence … until the day she set his “underwear” on fire. He was not amused … femNaru, SasuNaru - Title may change. Still in the planning process.

"Dreams of an Insomniac" (Harry Potter) - Not yet confirmed. 50-50 chance of being written.

"The Dragon and the Weasel" (Harry Potter) - Draco Malfoy will do anything to win over Harry Potter’s heart, even if it means having to “befriend” Ron Weasley first. Too bad his new attitude and attempts to get close to Ron keep giving the red-head constant heart attacks … Implied Draco/fem!Harry - Because Draco scaring the sh!t outta Ron is hilarious for me since I love Ron so much (and characters I love tend to suffer a lot at my hands xD).

On Hiatus:

"My Type of In-Laws" (Naruto) - Their "epic love saga" has begun and is in bloom! But now they have to face that one, tiny little catch that every relationship has: meeting the parents ... you gotta feel sorry for them ... femNaru, SasuNaru. - One-shot sequel to my fic "My Type of Woman". I'm really sorry, but my limited time and lack of inspiration prevent me from writing it right now. But I really want to finish it and I intend to sometime in the future.

~ I have one more Naruto story, which is a crack Kakafem!Naru fic that a reviewer of mine once suggested. It's incomplete and I have no idea whether I'll get the inspiration to return to it, but if ever it progresses, I'll be sure to mention it up here. ~
