I used to do things... talk to my husband, sleep, watch TV, read actual books... but then I discovered Fan Fiction. I'll never be the same again.

Support Stacie Auction:
~ I participated in the September Support Stacie Auction. JAustenlover picked me up in exchange for a very generous donation. For her, I wrote "Jasper Seizes the Moment," a "Fire in the Vein" outtake. It can be found as the fourth chapter of "Embers: Spicy Sides from Fire in the Vein."
~ Also, my homegirl LaViePastiche and I are working on a collab for JAustenlover for Support Stacie. It's a multi-chapter J/B. Look for that to start posting before too long.

What to read: There is so much Twific out there... how the hell do you figure out what to read? Here are some great resources.
~ The Lazy, Yet Discerning Ficster blog. It has all manners of reviews, articles, and other good things. It updates daily.
~ The Fictionators blog. Every Friday, they give a handful of recommendations for new fics and other things they're reading.
~ The Temptation Twilight Podcast. Every week, they do a Twific-centric podcast and dish about what they're reading, what's going on in the Twific world, you name it.
~ The Twigasm Podcast. Seriously, they're just plain funny. And they talk about good stuff.

My favorite things in the entire TwiUniverse are, in alphabetic order (because I'm a Virgo and we're crazy like that):
~ americnxidiot, for whom I beta. Someday, we'll be those little old ladies, sitting on a porch, shrieking "Scotch" and "Gin" at one another. I love her even though she refuses to support my love for Jasper/Bella. Although... sometimes she can be reasonable. Oh, and she wrote You Get Me Closer to God and Cascade and Cyanide. Her current story is: Beautiful Beat . She and I grope each other virtually here: TLYDF: Reader's Series.
~ Jasper Whitlock, in just about all incarnations. Sans Alice, preferably. No frickin pixies here, thanks. My favorite Jaspers are from Scotch, Gin and The New Girl / Tanqueray & Tonic and Other Assorted Cocktales and Colliding Meteors.
~ Legna989, who betas for me, climbs around inside my head, and generally owns at least half of my soul. If they ever legalize author-beta or author-author marriages, and she'll say yes, we'll be in line right behind jandco and wtvoc. She's now working with hmonster4 and profmom72 on their new story The Fates. She is betaing and writing, too. Together, we make up "Ellegna." © AccioBourbon 2009.

~ I am ass-over-teakettle addicted to circe290's "Serendipity," an AH Jasper/Bella. ahelm's "He & She" is fantastic, as well. Some of my other favorite Jasper-heavy fics, all complete, are: Someone Else's Memoirs by a certain slant of light (post-Eclipse AU) - if I could recommend only one fic for the rest of my life, this would be it; When Darkness Turns to Light by Janna Banana (post-NM abandonment AU); Cowboys & Indians by Minisinoo; Colliding Meteors (post-NM abandonment AU) (and the accompanying one-shot Save a Horse, which is my favorite Jasper/Bella one-shot and contains one of the best Jasper lines of all time).
