"Life's too short not to lick the spoon." Julianna Banana, 7 year old cancer survivor

The next chapter of Soul Storm was ready to post when our computer got hit by a nasty virus that had been lurking on this site. Now, one hundred-plus dollars poorer from getting rid of the beastie, I'm finally back (sort of). The problem is now, I've not had any time with the story since the virus incident due to the onset of the planting season.
Keeping my fingers crossed that life will settle soon so that I can get back to writing and finish the story. Once it's done, I'm going to re-evaluate the chapter-by-chapter posting.
Thank you for checking in. Grace and peace to you wherever you may be.

Bunnies nesting in the cobwebbed corners of my mind, awaiting their turn:
Unititled - Olsen's hanging out in Hammelburg waiting for a call to return to camp when an innocent situation turns deadly. Will Hogan and the heroes be able to rescue him in time? Or will this be Olsen's last mission?
Blood Brothers - the sequel to Brothers in Arms. Begins immediately following BIA's closing scenes. The installation has been destroyed, but so have lives. Papa Bear and his men return to Stalag 13 only to learn that London has another mission waiting for them.
By the Green of the Spring - the second in the Storyteller series. In an instant, everything changed and life at Stalag 13 would never be the same.
Untitled - Hogan and Tiger must fight for their lives when a mission explodes into violence.
May my stories take you to another time and place, where you can - for a while - lose yourself and your cares.
About me: Around 1999 or so, I discovered - to my great surprise and excitement - Hogan's Heroes fan fiction. Nina Stephens and Kate Browne's stories and vivid writing, in particular, gave new life to beloved characters, and inspired me to try and create my own.
Besides working outside the home, my husband I own and work a small crop farm and raise Angus/cross-bred cattle. I'm a Cubs/Bears/Colts fan and animal lover (particularly cats & horses). Some of my hobbies are writing, cross-stitching, crocheting, gardening and NASCAR (GO #88!).
