Author has written 36 stories for Vampire Knight, D.Gray-Man, Inuyasha, Digimon, Skip Beat!, Naruto, Secret/Legend of Mana, Saint Seiya, Odin Sphere, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, and Saki/咲. The only thing in the world I hope I never fail is common sense. My opinion for fanfic as reader and author. Summary *Putting 'first fic' in summary is wasting limited space it have, nobody need to know and if anything instead of sympathy people will be reluctant to read your story. If you are so worried put it in author note (on the bottom after the story) and let people criticize you so you can improve your writing. And it's not like your reader will slaughter you or flame you for suck first try, the worse they will say is you can improve or grammar mistake. *No one need to know 'I am suck in writing summary' because they can judge it themselves, I am sure most readers is interested reading a fic because of summary. Beside how good you are in summarizing your story speak a lot about how good your writing is. Delete that 'I am suck' and come out with better summary! *Better than it sounds, okay... I still think this statement is wasting summary's limited space. Especially considering how many people will buy this statement. I definitely will not believe it *If your fic involve Yaoi/Yuri and god forbid graphic sex scene about it, please put it in your summary because I know a lot of Yaoi writer is so pissed people bitching after reading their story even though they put it in summary already. *Don't like, don't read. Can't blame anyone to put this line since I experience the same thing... people still read the fic despite of hating something like pairing and character just to complain... OC (When I rarely fond of them and really picky I find these are reasons why people hate them) plus Mary-Sue *Nobody need to know detailed description of how your OC looks like as in how her eyes sparkle, the multi colored hair plus unusual yet beautiful hairstyle or voice like a nightingale or how elaborate their cool clothes are. Because seriously? I doubt anyone will remember it by next chapter, and telling people how awesome they looked like is not helping people to like your OC. And if you can, draw them and save your time instead of confusing your readers. *Tragic past is okay but no one will sympathize with your OC if he/she outshining canon character in that department. And for the love of GOD no one read fanfic to know how tragic your OC's life is! *Loooooooooooong name, okay... I am wondering if you even remember your OC's name in this case. *Love interest of Canon character, I am willing to give this kind of OC a chance as long as it's not typical 'the guy hate the OC girl at first because she is annoying but find her unique unlike other girl and start liking her' OR 'OC mesmerized the canon character by his/her beauty and fall in love at first sight but deny it, then found there are more than just pretty face' *Mary-sue can just go crash and burn in hell for all I care unless they are used for sacrificial lamb in crack fic I will never read it. Conclusion: Please think back why people read fanfiction, definitely not for reading self insert OC. Keep it to your imagination, or write your own novel. Bashing FIC I do read a couple of bashing fic and have to admit if you hate the character, it's a good read to satisfy your hatred. I still think it's pathetic if a story liked because of bashing instead of good plot, it's just so pitiful a story is loved because of hatred :( Some portrayal of hated character is really OOC to the point the character is unrecognizable. I noted this happen to Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi... even poor Sakura's mother whose appearance just voice and bubble dialogue. For god sake we even have never seen Sakura's mom even once!!! But to tell you the truth this kind of fic either make me sick or make me can ignore the bashing because I can't tell if the character that bashed is the same character anymore... Some bashing is also caused by shippping war, you know what? I SICK OF IT! The debate not even worth it because no one talk logically anymore! Time Travel Fic Everyone LOVES this genre right? Me too! But sometimes I begin to think a lots of TT fics have the same plot with litle originality. Not to mention once a original plot about TT come out people start immitating it! I AM NOT accusing anyone but this is just my opinion since I saw lots of TT in KHR featuring de-aged time-traveler, TYL KHR character time-traveling, etc. Naruto mostly using Kyuubi XD or it's just happen somehow... I hereby apologize for all TT writer in KHR section because of what I write in chapter 2 *bow* if anyone notice I did make fun of over-using TYL bazooka in TT fic. I just can't resist pointing it out... but then again I use Vongola ring, not really original either so you can say... Pot call Kettle black ;P Anonymous Review There are only one reason why Author enable this feature, first of course because we want more review... some readers are too lazy to log in or didn't have an account to begin with. This however is no excuse for irresponsible flamers to flame anonymously, you sorry excuse of pitiful haters! Don't flame if you don't have enough guts to face author face to face at least by PM!!! Fair and constructive critiques is okay but bitching how suck it is without telling why it suck is just insulting! Their talent had not bloomed and the seniors were surprised their egocentric juniors used to be such adorable brats especially Aomine, much to Imayoshi's and Wakamatsu's disbelief. Kasamatsu's opinion?Kise was still Kise. Akashi was a happy tyrant, Midorima was tsundere.
